NASCAR community is made up of sports personalities. The community values sports and champions sporting activities with the aim of fostering peace and unity (Batchelor 226). They have always achieved significant gains with the sporting initiatives concerning the transformation of the way of life of the southern people including other parts of the nation. Likewise, NASCAR is a sporting community that coordinates multiple auto-racing sporting events. First of all, Nascar is more electrifying because, it involves more than two cars. Other than Drag racing having two cars, Nascar has about thirty racecars or more! When a lot of cars are out at once, it can have the most prospects of wrecks. Every racecar driver can go all at once, than wait until one’s turn as in Drag racing does.

NASCAR has forty-three drivers that race in the events. In Formula One, there are only twenty drivers. The number of races in a NASCAR season is thirty-six, in contrast to Formula One which has only 17 races in a season. Another major difference between the two is the design of the cars. NASCAR vehicles are front-engine stock cars. These cars are heavy, and the weight can help keep the car on the pavement. The design of NASCAR vehicles are also traditional and relatively simple. These stock cars are not very technologically advanced. Formula One vehicles are mid-engine cars, and are very lightweight. Formula One cars only weigh around one-thousand pounds. These Formula One cars are built using advanced technology that makes them aerodynamic to provide more speed while going around the track. The racing tracks differ as well. NASCAR tracks are oval shaped speedways, and Formula One tracks are circuits and are constructed in various designs. Considering NASCAR tracks are oval, the drivers are only turning left. This allowed liquor trade to continue and created a critical effect on the use of alcohol by Native Americans. When someone thinks of Ford Motor Company, one of the first things that comes to mind is the Mustang. Carroll Shelby revolutionized the world of cars, especially with his work on the Ford Mustangs. Carroll was not only a racecar driver, but he also created racecars and street legal vehicles. He is a member of the Automotive Hall of Fame and the International Motor Sports Hall of Fame, just to name a few, and in 1956 and ’57 was named Driver of the Year by Sports Illustrated. Shelby died March 10, 2012 at the age of 89, and in this speech I hope that I can convince you that he is more than worthy of the prominent place he holds in the history of performance vehicles.

In the factories where most people worked there were corrupt bosses, the people were overworked and there was child labor. The only salvation that these people had was to drink. The workers drank to calm down and feel no pain. But this destroyed families because they were almost constantly drunk. They would sometimes lose their only job because of the drinking.
