The assignment is based upon the Myers-Briggs personality test on 16 personalities.com. The test put me down as INFJ-A. It said I am creative, insightful, convincing,decisive,passionate, and altruistic. It also said I am sensitive, perfectionistic, extremely private and always am in need of a cause. It said helping others is what I see as my purpose in life. This test surprised me with its accuracy. It was incredibly accurate in all of its assertions, at least from my perspective. I have many Ideals that I will argue tirelessly for given the opportunity. I am also everything it says negatively affects me. Mandela and Jefferson were heavily opinionated and was willing to fight for his Ideals. Jefferson had some Entrepreneur in him and was one of the most prominent farmer with his innovations. Mandela fought and advocated for his cause in passionate and convincing ways. They took attacks on their ideals personality (Mandela with more reason for it). Mandela’s fight for an end to apartheid shows his belief that his purpose is to help others. He fought to help others, not himself.A humble and patient man, he kept to his ideals. Another person is Jimmy Carter. His want to help others shows in his work for Habitat for Humanity. After his presidency, he worked with Habitat for humanity for a long time. The website has a section dedicated to careers. It says that first and foremost INFJs have to have a career that helps others and personally interacts with the people they are helping. Careers it points out are counselors, psychologists, and doctors, though any career that helps others can be rationalized.
