My philosophy of education is something that has been evolving and changing for the past few years. I believe that our experiences make us who we are and shape what we believe in. Therefore, when I began college and the education program I was very uncertain of my philosophy on education. This lack of philosophy simply came from not having much experience in the education field besides my high school early childhood education program. After completing various amounts of field experiences in different school districts, different grade levels, and in many different communities, my philosophy is much clearer to me, however, I believe it is something that is ever changing. From my experiences, I believe my philosophy begins with knowing your students

I am a student at Florida Atlantic University studying early childhood education. I am enrolled in EEC 3214 class this semester; the class is called designing and implementing a blending curriculum: birth to age eight. I am required to complete a field experience assignment at a preschool. I will observe young children ranging from three to five years old. I assure you that I will keep all information confidential. In addition, I reassure you that I will not share the information collected outside of my course and that no identifying information will be shared. I will respect and follow all the school’s policies and procedures in a professional manner.
One of the challenge for every early childhood educator is to develop skills that will offer students the best possible learning experiences and opportunities. If it is in school, at home, or in community settings. That is why it is important that every effort be made to ensure that there is an effective communication and partnerships with parents. Some ways to open that relationship is getting the family to know you. At open house I provide a short biography about myself and my interests. Parents rarely have the chance during "drop-off" and "pick-up" time to get to know their child's teacher, or even have a conversation. That is why I also have an email sent up for the classroom where parents can write is there is any concurs or question.
Before deciding to pursue my Associates Degree in Business Administration I too was trying to receive my degree in Early Childhood Education and Development. I have a 2 year old daughter so I realized my passion for being a mother and I had decided I wanted to teach preschool. My reason for deciding to change my associate degree was for more opportunities for advancement and income. I find it incredible that you are a nanny, it probably takes tons of patience and also extremely fun.
In my philosophy I will talk about the goals of teaching and ways to accomplish them. Also I will describe how I feel about public education, what kind of teacher is the best, how young children learn and develop, how best i plan to teach them and what school system works the best because of
Early childhood is a time of curiosity, a time for play, and a time of rapid development. Every child is unique and deserving of an early childhood education that facilitates academic, social, and developmental growth through a variety of enjoyable experiences. Differentiated instruction adapts content, products and processes to meet the diverse learning needs and preferences of students (Thousand, Villa, & Nevin, 2007). Friedrich Froebel, the creator of Kindergarten, believed that children grow and learn as they play (Bruno, 2009). Play-based instruction not only enables young learners to have fun, but it also encourages interactive and cooperative learning, passion for discovery, and a foundation for later learning experiences
Early Childhood Education illustrates the teaching and care of children in other environments outside of the home. Early childhood centers on the development of all children no matter their gender, race, abilities, or ethnic orientation and gives knowledge of early childhood learning process, which entails values, culture, desires of parents for their children, and especially a child’s need for knowledgeable functionality in society.
2. A positive attitude develops in children, who can fulfill their goals, complete tasks on
I am in love with teaching children. They are always excited to see me and ready to learn every day. Each child is different and unique and learns in certain ways, and I enjoy figuring out specific ways to teach them and help them learn. I am not the kind of teacher everyone thinks of, the typical hair down, pencil skirt and heels, it is more like hair up, karate uniform on, and the black belt tied. I have been taking karate ever since I was seven years old. My parents have been in the martial arts for thirty-one years and have taught me all that I know. After years of long training and many belt tests later, the summer of 2015, I finally achieved one of my biggest goals, which was earning my black belt. Karate is something that I live for, something
I am currently pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education with an intent to graduate in 2019. School was never my forte, and I never imagined pursuing a higher education so I entered the workforce. I held plenty of positions in different retail corporations, which led me to having different skillsets. One day, I saw that my local school district was a hiring teacher assistants, so I applied for the position.
This is Love Webb I know it has been some time since you have heard and seen of me. I am still working in my field of Early Childhood Development and trying to better my empowerment in my field by being a lead teacher in I must complete my degree. I Have obtained 90 credits toward my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood development. The reason for my absents around campus is due to depletion of funding to attend school.
I want to become someone who teaches, an educator, a role model, a teacher. I want to help children in their early childhood education. I want to become a teacher because teachers play a very big role in children’s lives. Not only do they serve as educators, but for many kids, the classroom is where they feel the safest. They feel welcomed and at home. For these certain kids it is their one place of stability where they are always guaranteed to be loved and get fed and to have fun. I enjoy watching kids grow and helping them develop their learning skills. Every kid needs a good education and I want to be the one giving them that good education. I want to make a difference in their lives and prepare them for the road ahead.
Unlike other Chinese undergraduate students, I spent my undergraduate life at IUB in the USA, where I was given a top-notch education, offered more freedom to choose courses and more importantly, I was guided to have a clearer idea of my future career aspirations. What I am currently learning in my major of Human Development and Family Studies has a close association with my target major and lays a solid foundation for my future studies and researches in Early Childhood Education. The relevant courses are Parent-Child Relations, Human Development I-Concept Early Childhood, Human Development II: Middle Childhood through Adolescence, Sociology of Childhood, Survey of Practice of Youth and Families and so on. All those preparations aim to help me explore the unimaginable changes in people from infancy to adolescence to adulthood, thus providing me an upper understanding of the salient issues that impact parents and children throughout the life-span.
Values of Early Childhood Education in the Public Schools System: It all begins long before first grade
• To teach is to engage in lifelong intellectual work through the merging of academic theories and research, classroom research and practice, living in the social and political world, and studying the intellectual work of children to produce practices and knowledge in the best interest of children in a socially just, democratic society.
