An Essay as My Long Test :( After the fall of the Roman Empire from the Visigoths, dark clouds covered all of Europe. A time that one couldn't imagine to the once glorious and mighty Rome, the center of the world, would crumble in a flash. Civilization decayed. Great architectural monuments that portrays power and prestige had deteriorated. City's buildings are quarried for construction materials. Civilization is lost and replaced by small local villages in the countryside. The Western Roman Empire collapsed. The leaders of the Germanic Tribes took advantage of the situation acquiring as much land as they could. Series of wars between tribes rose. It started from the Christianization of Clovis I, the leader of the Franks - Germanic people held power in the Roman Province of Gaul which is now known as France. With the Church supports on his military campaigns, Clovis I had united the Franks into a Kingdom. After few centuries rose a new leader that expanded Christianity's rule over Europe. Charlemagne took over the Frankish Kingdom and started his campaign to the West and later reunited for the first time since the Roman Empire. During Charlemagne's reign over the kingdom, people who worship pagan gods have their heads off. Living in the 21st century is the most fortunate time to be alive. The age of innovation is here. Once impossible are now possible. Technology has never been this advance unlike in the Middle Ages where the people have gone back in history. Disease and infections are once deadly are now curable. Life expectancy is relatively high compared to the Middle Ages which have a life expectancy of 30 years. Child morality is high back then. Most children can only reach the age of 12. Lucky ones enter adulthood just to experience more pain and
