You have asked me to write down my goals and I have decided to be brutally honest. Once I am out of school, I will never touch human hair with shears every again. I will never roll a perm, or a roller set. I wont worry about which direction hair goes when you apply a virgin color or retouch. I will maybe use 10 percent of what I was taught and if things go the way I want not even that much. See I want to be makeup artist and so far only the teachers in this facility and my mother have told me that hair comes along with makeup and I would formally like to tell you all it does not. I do not want to cut hair or shampoo it for the rest of my life that would be JOB and I do not plan on having a JOB I plan on having a career. Now contrary to belief they are two very different things, as well as, cosmetology, and makeup artistry. Yes makeup artistry is a type of cosmetic I mean when you walk into store they have the makeup area labeled cosmetics, but this school barley even dusts the subject, like its just something we should know when we get out of here and well it doesn’t work that way. I want to learn every technique there is in the book. I want to know how to highlight and to bake like the worlds greatest makeup artist do. I want to be known around the world for makeup, not hair. Not for rolling perms or cutting it or styling it. I 'm not saying that there aren’t famous men and women who do that but they aren’t the people I look up to. People like Jaclyn Hill and Anastasia
To attend Paul Mitchell’s cosmetology school and be a certified makeup artist is Jennifer’s dream. Though that’s only the beginning, she plans on starting off as a MUA at Ulta or even as a manager, whichever opportunity is open to her first. She also dreams in having her own beauty salon and aims on making it to college for business and management. She would love to get paid to do what she’s passionate about, which is doing makeup and makeovers on others. Ever since she was young, she was easily inspired and artistic, this is a significant trait to have to be a MUA, it makes it much easier to work with what kind of looks the clients are looking to stretch for. Another thing that takes people a long way in any profession is being amiable and
Prior to each decision that has to be made, the management team has to set realistic goals. By setting realistic goals we will be able to strategically figure out which direction is most suitable for the direction that we are aiming towards. Realistically as we analyze the world and make comparisons on how businesses functioned 15 years ago to now we would see many differences. By figuring out ways to remove the middleman, that opens doors to create new opportunities. For example, enhancing technology within manufacturers in our various markets.
My dreams are to attend Paul Mitchell's cosmetology school and get my make up certificate. I would love to get paid to do what I’m passionate about which is to do others make up and do make overs. I’ve always been creative and easily inspired which would be a great trait to have to be a MUA because this way it’s easy to work with what kind of look the clients are trying to go for. I’m also a very friendly and respectful person which comes a long way in any profession, that helps with how I would interact and speak with my clients. I’ve been watching makeup videos since middle school and it wasn’t until I came across Carli Bybel on Youtube in 7th grade when I had a huge aspiration to become a Makeup artist. I’ve already done makeup on different
The moment I got out of elementary school I jumped right into makeup. I have had an immense amount of passion for makeup ever since. Throughout middle school, when I was asked what I wanted to be I always had a different image. I kept changing my mind, ranging from wanting to become a counselor, a physical therapist, and others. Finally, I realized that makeup is something I always had a passion for. The moment I decided I wanted to become a makeup artist and be involved in the cosmetology field, nothing else interested me. My passion encompasses all beauty fields within cosmetology. When you do somebody’s makeup, hair, or complete a facial you can see the joy and excitement in their facial expressions. The exhilaration of doing people’s makeup and their
I want to improve my current piano playing skills by advancing at least two levels and be confident in playing in front of a large audience.
Overall Goal: To retire in 2044 with my dream home having obtained a position as a CEO within the period 2024-2030.
Over the past 13 years of my life I have had many interests. Some of those interests include playing soccer, listening to music, writing, and doing hair and makeup.A career choice I feel is a good fit for me is a cosmetology position. A cosmetologist is the practice or skill of makeup, hair and skin. I feel this is a good career choice for me is because I have been interested in beauty since I was really little. I have watched so many makeup tutorials, played with makeup, done nails as a hobby, and I love anything that goes along the lines of beauty. I feel that being able to bring out someone's beauty and seeing them happy in their body would make me feel so overjoyed to be doing what I was doing. I also feel that doing something I love as a career would make me enjoy going to work everyday.
Where am I? My primary goal is to obtain my engineering degree. I would love to achieve a GPA anywhere between 3.5 and 4.0 by the time I graduate. In addition to a good GPA I would like to have experienced a few internships in the engineering field, so I can have a good hands on experience before committing to a full time job. I would like a starting salary that is no less than $40/ hr. Although the pay seems inadequate due to the time and money I would spend achieving this career, I would settle for $40 an hour as my training phase. My first job would help me gain knowledge that school didn't teach me, after I've had prominent results in the field I can ask for a raise or get another job where the pay is higher.
What I’ve already done to begin to accomplish my goals is to be part of my Health Science class so I can learn more about healthcare careers and what they’re all about. I’ve also gone to the hospital to shadow nurses so I can observe what being a nurse is like. I’ve also been doing community service because I know that later in the future that will help me to pursue my career. I’ve also researched about different universities and colleges that have health science programs.
Since I was ten years old, my father has taught me how to write and sit my goals. He believes that well-written goals will help a person to achieve and how to achieve them, and it also makes the person more optimistic and has self-confident. Therefore, I have taken my first step in my life to achieve several goals, and one of them was being a doctor.
As a student, employee, son, brother, and Christian I have many responsibilities. The most important responsibility is to glorify God and enjoy him forever. My personal goals are to be married and have a child or children by the age of 30. Secondarily and far less pressing is to drive a full sized truck, and to comfortably afford it. My academic goals are very unclear. They directly correlate with my career goals which have not been set. But for the sake of this paper my academic goal is to first get my AA. And if I still have no set career goal, to move onto UCF to either study physical training or business. My career goals that I have set have more to do with retirement. This is due to the fact that I do not know what I would like to spend the rest of my life doing. One of my biggest Goals is to retire by the year 2042. That would put me at the age of 45. I think that leaves me with a lot of my life left to do what I’ve always wanted. And I can be very involved in my younger kid’s lives.
The first goal I have set for myself is to graduate high school and get my diploma. This is one of the goals I have had set for myself for a while. I gave up on school three years ago and thought that I wouldn’t need a diploma to get a job. I did not think about my education for a long time I had my mind on things that were not important. This goal I set for myself is very important to me and my family I am hoping I can achieve it. I do not want to fail this time I want to make my family proud of me.
When I was a little girl my mom always used to buy me dolls, to practice on their hair. Every year for Christmas I always got a doll. I was so happy to get them. I always practiced braiding, rolling, curling, twisting, and combing the hair out. I always loved to play with someone's hair and style it. It was always fun and interesting to me. Doing hair was something I always enjoyed so I chose to do my project on cosmetology. Since I was a little girl, doing hair has always been my dream and my passion. I started doing hair when I was 13; I’ve always enjoyed it. Getting dolls every year made my passion grow. I started to love doing hair.
Drawing characters, backgrounds, rims, cars, or trucks spends most of my pastime. In addition to drawing, I would also like to partake classes in Animation. Art directors earned $56,880 in 2000, and the highest 10% made more than $109,440 dollars. Artist work about 40 hours a week, but during busy periods, they work overtime to meet deadlines.
My goal is one that is different and will take effort and hard work to achieve. It is one that I have to really work on for a long period of time and have motivation for. My goal is to maintain a 3.33 GPA for my first semester of college and hopefully for my next four years as well. Why specifically a 3.33 GPA? This is because I plan on joining the honors program next semester and to do that, a 3.33 GPA is exactly what I need to attain. In order to stay in the honors program for the next four years, I need to keep that 3.33 GPA and not let it drop. This goal is a great one and is definitely affected by Marywood’s Core Values and Mission Statement. Empowerment and Excellence have a big impact on my goal as well as the idea in the statement that Marywood strives for strong academic achievement and scholarships. These Core Values will be a big help in inspiring me to achieve my goal.
