Through the procedures of making musical works, performing with voice and instrument, and reacting to our own particular and others' music, people and gatherings convey implications, convictions and qualities. Music engagement shapes our idea and movement, and is obvious from the most punctual phases of life. Music is a pervasive element of contemporary life. This is to a great extent since music, not at all like some other artistic expression, has the ability to successfully unite a gathering of individuals in light of a legitimate concern for a specific reason. Music is a very powerful expression of emotions that come together as a whole to morph your psychological feelings into a sub-reality vision. Over the many years, history has been able to capture the moments at which music has made an impact on human lives. We can start with Manu Chao the artist that sings about left-wing messages and portrays his concerts as “collective therapy”. Or Juan Gabriel the young man that rose out of poverty to become the world’s most beloved artist/songwriter and whose music carried a resonate flamboyant style. Music is a way of communication that is used in many realms such as entertainment, tradition religion and sporting events. So far this semester, Chic 316 has influenced me to seek a more coherent relationship
For as long as mankind has walked on this earth, music has been an important part of our culture and lifestyles. Each walk of life beats to a different drum. Different cultures use music for many aspects of their lives; for religious purposes, for celebrations, for comfort, for sorrow, for relaxation, for sports, for dances, for energy, for learning, for sleeping, and for sexual experiences. Everyone uses music for something. Music connects with people and reaches them in ways that words simply cannot. Music is a representation of what feelings sound like. Yet, music is so much more than notes on paper, music represents movements in time, music is memories, history, connections, relaxation and escape. Music is an important part of our day to day lives whether we see it that way or not! It can impact us in unimaginable ways by changing our whole lives completely, but i can also allow of to share a moment with people that we have and will not ever meet. Sometimes even without us knowing or thinking about it. Music is not only an emotional outlet, but rather a unifier like seen in the works of “ J- Balvin”, Lin- Manuel Miranda and much more. Creating a topic we can all share and relate to , whether we already know it or not, and whether we want to admit it or not for that reason music one of the most meaningful ways to express and connect to others. For that reason music can be one of thee, if not the sole most important unifier even through unyielding barriers.
