Good evening Sally. I wanted to give you a rundown of my conversation with Jordy Calderon’s mother Maria Lopez-Garcia. • I called to speak with Mrs. Lopez-Garcia at 4:05 P.M. • She asked if I spoke Spanish. I told her no, and I had one of our teachers, Mariana B. Cortez, translate the conversation for me in my office. • Mrs. Lopez-Garcia asked me for my version of the story. o After C lunch Jordy and three other students were walking behind a female student, and according to her snickering and laughing about something. o They continued down the hallway and right before they got to the resource room Jordy grabbed her foot, picking it up off the floor. The female student lost her balance and then said something to Jordy as he ran down the hallway away from the student. o I also informed her that there was an earlier incident …show more content…
• Mrs. Lopez-Garcia said that she wanted to make sure that Jordy was suspended because he told her, but she did not receive the paper. She asked again if he was suspended, and I told her yes with a return date of Monday, March 14th. • Mrs. Lopez-Garcia informed of her call to the superintendent’s office and what she called them. • I told her that that paperwork would be ready in the morning, and it could be mailed to her or she could come pick it up if she wanted to. I wanted to let you know that suspending a student without paperwork here at Pierre Moran is not a common practice. However, I spoke with Jordy at the end of the day and told him what his consequence was for the horseplay and bully-like behaviors. His mother was called by Mrs. Romero, our Spanish speaking secretary, right at the bell. So Mrs. Lopez-Garcia knew that he was suspended before Jordy made it home and maybe even out of the parking lot. I hope I have been clear. If you need anything else from me, please let me know. Have a good
I reviewed the results of the incident with Assistant Principal ERNST. ERNST contacted KASCHAK's father and issued a 2 day out of school suspension to be served on Wednesday February 8th and 9th, 2017. Due to school being closed on February 9th and 10th, KASCHAK served her second day out of school suspension on Monday, Feb 13, 2017.
Cox talked to the staff of the Woodberry Public School they responded they would talk to the parents or they would give TH a suspension. However, there is no evidence of the school taking any action against TH.
He literary demanded us to stop the CW investigation. Mr Lopoez was extremely upset because a CW caseworker had contacted his girlfriend to investigate an sexual abuse allegations against his 9 year-old daughter, Eyrin Loeks, by one of his girlfriend's adult sons, Gary Pfleider (30) who is known drug user (per screening report) . The constituent is the father of the alleged victim.
She bolted to her feet despite being asleep only moments before. "Not again," she muttered through gritted teeth, expertly throwing on a pair of tennis shoes and rushing out of the burning room. The girl dropped

Ms. Rodriguez stated she called 911 because she wishes to report her son is being bullied. I informed Officer J. Conser, I would handle this call and to have communication reassign the call to me. I introduce myself as the School Resource Officer (SRO) for Brogden Middle School. As we walked back towards the lounge
Firstly, negligence on the schools part following duty, breach of duty, causation, and injury. The school district has in place a set of procedures that mandate a letter home and a phone call to the parents. In this case, only a letter of the suspension was given to go home with the student, which was then thrown away. This is pure incompetency on the part of the staff to fulfill their duty to properly inform the parents of
their Service Plans and that we should be in contact with the JPO’s at least, once a month, and I have been complying with such guidelines. However, Mr. Rick, did not ask, if I had called Derron’s JPO, although his mother called minutes later after I returned to administration and explaining that Derrion had just called her and told her about this issue and I asked Mr. Rick, because the student was allowed to call his mother during unauthorized phone hours, and since he failed to communicate effectively, how do he know that I had called Derrion’s JPO because his mother has a history of calling his JPO and notifying him about Derrion being on unauthorized websites, such as Face Book, while being in a placement facility and the JPO and Mr.
On Wednesday, December 2 at approximately 10 AM I received a call on my cell phone from the vice principal at Toppenish high Mr. E. Romero. He informed me that he had gotten a tip that a student might have a knife in Mr. Alying's room. I meet him at the room that student Robert Bennett was in. We took him to another room where the vice principal and one of the other administrator searched Robert and his bag while I observed. They found a 3 inch folding knife along with a can of chewing tobacco. I escorted the student along with the contraband to the office where I handed him over to the principal Mrs. B. Mallonee so she could handle the discipline of Robert. As of right now Robert Bennett has been suspended until he can have a hearing with
We are formally complaining that Ms Sanchez failed to follow MNPS policy as outlined in MNPS Student – Parent Handbook 2016 – 2017, regarding her selecting the Response of Expulsion of a student, Joseph Woods. First and foremost is the fact that not a single member of the staff of Cain Ridge High School has sat down and talked to Joseph to hear his story of the events of Friday, Feb. 3rd, 2017. That is the first item listed for any disciplinary response from a Level A up to a Level E. How anybody could expect fair and impartial treatment to be administered without someone even hearing both sides to a story is unfathomable to us. We look upon this failure as unethical, disrespectful and irresponsible. Joseph was handed a witness statement to
February 22nd, 2016, on a rare sunny afternoon in the middle of a forested, I interviewed my mother Theresa Lim in our home in Federal Way, Washington. It was a simple and friendly conversation to know about one specific person for an English assignment. We sat in our kitchen at the dinner table, both across each other, we started the interview.
Guilt, shame, and penitence are just a few of the emotions that are often associated with a great act of sin. Mr. Arthur Dimmesdale, a highly respected minister of a 17th century Puritan community, is true example of this as he was somehow affected by all of these emotions after committing adultery. Due to the seven years of torturous internal struggle that finally resulted in his untimely death, Mr. Dimmesdale is the character who suffered the most throughout Nathaniel Hawthorne’s The Scarlet Letter. Mr. Dimmesdale’s ever present guilt and boundless penance cause him an ongoing mental struggle of remorse and his conscience as well as deep physical pain from deprivation and self inflicted wounds. The external influence of the members of
Jennifer ran to the door and started to check her locks. Jacob came into the room and said, “He sounded dangerous.”
Marijuana is illegal in 48 of the 50 states, but the drug will most likely be legal in the near future. The heated debate on whether the “illicit drug” should be legalized in all 50 states keeps resurfacing. The most popular recreational drug in the United States today is marijuana. The formal name for marijuana is Cannabis but it also goes by a number of other street names including bud, grass, weed, reefer, ganja, hemp, and herb. “In 2011, more than 18 million Americans aged 12 and older reported using the drug within the past month” That is a very large amount of people that have used the drug even before it was legalized in two states. The government has thrown unproven facts about the harmful effects of marijuana to the people to scare them. The United States government has stated that Cannabis does cause lung cancer and includes many carcinogens, chemicals that cause cancer. Scientists and researchers have proven the exact opposite considering the drug is now used in many cancer treatments. With this being said, marijuana is not a perfect medicine either. Some of the harmful effects include posing a major irritant to the lungs and increased chance of a heart attack. There are always alternatives to work around these harmful effects. For example, marijuana can be eaten which would cause no irritation to the lungs in any way. As far as the increase chance of heart attack goes, any exercise raises the heart rate just as marijuana does. This means that you
In the case of military service it goes without question that serving is a privilege and a honor for those that decide to serve. However, the question I would like to know is, should we change the way we recruit troops? In saying that and going back to the case study, Sandel presents different ways of military recruitment. The first way of recruitment was by forcing people to serve, the draft. An old tactic that was used years ago in my opinion placed people in positions of being vulnerable and sad because their lives were controlled by people of higher power. The second way of recruitment still involved the draft concept, however it allowed for people to pay random replacements to fill in their spot in fighting in the war and joining the military. There are people that may agree to this
