I believe Murakami is one of the best leaders in The Samurai’s Tale when compared to Wada Kansuke, and Lord Akiyama due to his caring, trustworthy, and loyal ways. The reason why I think Murakami is better because he shows many skills and he likes to go all out and doesn’t hesitate much on things he thinks he should do or not to do. Lord Akiyama is a good leader because he gives good orders and people listen to them. Murakami and Wada Kansuke are mostly the same because of their personality and because they have honor, and they are reliable. Lord Akiyama is merciful and he is kind to other people and he favorites Murakami the most. Wada Kansuke is a wise, kind, and smart leader, but he is not as caring as Murakami. Murakami always listens to the commands he is given. The comparison between the three characters are very similar and their personalities are too. Murakami helps other people when they are hurt and some leaders that are in the story don’t do that. I think he is better than Wada Kansuke because he is willing to do more things like curing others and asking people if they need help. “May I bandage your wound?”(Pg 115) is a good example that shows that Murakami cares for other people even if he doesn’t know them. But Lord Akiyama knows what’s best for Murakami. I think Lord Akiyama is better than some other leaders like Lord Obu because Akiyama has greater abilities and Lord Obu doesn’t give much mercy and in my opinion, I think Lord Akiyama has better orders or strategic plans for things than Lord Obu. I don’t think Lord Akiyama is better than Togan because Togan is more wise and he also taught Murakami before Lord Akiyama and Murakami kept those memories ever since he passed away. Togan’s personality is better than Lord Akiyama he also thinks faster then some other people. Togan is not as skilled as Lord Akiyama but he at least knows what to
