MS(Multiple Sclerosis) is a disease which gradually hardens all tissues and also causes scars. These scars form when the persons immune system's cells go into the central nervous system and cause inflammation to the brain, spinal cord and optic nerves. MS is also a non contagious and unpredictable disease. MS is also the most common chronic disease (when it comes to the CNS (Central Nervous System)) with young Australians. Throughout all the states of Australia, Victoria is the State with the most people that have the condition.

No one really knows the exact cause of the disease but it has been predicted that genetics and the environment that the person is in may actually play a big role when it comes to catching the disease. …show more content…

In the initial symptoms which are the most common are having difficulty in walking, numbness(pins and needles) and eyesight becoming worse. The less common syptoms consists of tremor, loss of coordination, speaking disorders, paralysis, not being able to think, reason or even remember. Finally all the others are rarely to happen(uncommon) and they are dizziness, difficulty while swallowing, constant headaches, problems hearing, itchiness, pain, seizures, sexuality problems.

The difference between having MS and not having it is that your body will not have scars or hardened tissues which effects the CNS. Affecting the CNS is massive as it is your brain and your spinal cord which makes all the decisions for your nervous system and without a fully functioning CNS, the person will have all the effects that was said in the previous paragraph (the effects of MS) which were things like not able to walk properly, numbness and the persons eyesight becoming
