The Recreation and Engagement team have engaged Mrs. Lowe in a one on one weekly interventions 2 times a week for 30 min. To determine which interventions will be successful an initial assessment was done to enhance her quality of life. During the first week Mrs. Lowe declined all invitations to recreation programs. She was not talkative. She turned her head and would not reply to any questions asked. Tactile and verbal cueing was needed on the first visit couple of visits. Recreation therapist also noticed constant coughing and spitting into the trash can. At times Mrs. Lowe would say how people are listening to her conversation or how staff tries and poison. That’s why she spits. Meeting with Mrs. Lowe one on one was more beneficial.

My intention in writing this paper is not to point out Lisa Lowe’s failing topics, but to broaden the discussion that she initiated by including my knowledge and cultural point of view as a Luso-American. I want to make an effort to include my single cultural contribution to her initiative. I truly believe that other reader’s contribution to this approach will point historiography into the right direction of realistically interpret history as it happened according to every party involved in its holistic context. To do so, I will compare her work with other authors that focus in the same issue of indentured workers, Chinese and others, in the same period of time, and the cultural aspect that she brings up in her discourse. I also wish to make

I would not support Jennifer Hall’s proposal to add a dollar surcharge to every traffic fine to pay for the college education of police officers. Like Senator Maggie Oates, I believe the proposal results in special treatment of police officers as it is something that is not offered to other state employees. Police officers’ opportunity to obtain a college education should not rely on people getting stopped. A direct gain from each traffic fine could result in police officers giving out fines for violations they would have otherwise given warnings for. Lastly, fines are costly enough that adding a surcharge sufficient to cover all employees would be too large and have a significant impact on the community.

Roles that played out for these girls and the roles their families, peers, social media and the larger communities helped influence their situations. Some of the roles that influenced these teenaged girls outcomes, were the members in their family. Like for Daisy’ family members, she was known to have three older brothers. One of her older brother was even friend with two of boys who had part take in her assault. Also they lived in a tiny little town that played a huge factor in Daisy’s case. As the highest authority there was the sheriff patrol and the sheriff seemed to be a sexist, when asked if Daisy’s case was a rape case. Clearly, for him it is in the hands of the attorney and the legislative; as the law in Missouri had a consensus for
