What’s Your Past?
“In Analysis: My Past”
As Hannah Montana once sang, “Nobody's Perfect! I gotta work it! Again and again 'til I get it right. Nobody's Perfect! You live and you learn it! And if I mess it up sometimes... Nobody's perfect!” This quote applies to everybody. Various people will act as if they never mess up. If that were true then they would get hundreds on every single assignment. Everybody has had or will have important experiences happen to them. I refer to most of my as incidents. I learn exceptionally influential lessons with each of my incidents. This experience is important to me for three reasons.
One day, in seventh grade we had a movie day. The movie was Percy Jackson and the Olympians, the Lightning Thief. In the fourth

So we can see,” Mckensi said after first period.
“But then we would have to crane our necks to look at the screen, so we should in the fourth row in the center,” I replied.
“Okay, NOW, onto more important topics. What movie do you think we are going to watch? I heard Up is what we are watching. What do you think?” Kensi asks me at our lockers.
“I heard Percy Jackson and Up. So I don’t know. But, either are fine with me.”
“Well, I have to go, but I hope its Percy Jackson; I don’t like Up that much. It annoys me,” Kensi says as she walks backward so she could say what she had on her way to class.
During the next hour, all I did was make a pro and con chart in my head and Percy Jackson won. For third, fourth, and homeroom I kept my fingers, legs toes, and tongue

“What are you doing? Why are your fingers crossed? You look weird,” Kensi asked with her eyebrows furrowed, when she realized my fingers were crossed.
“I’m keeping my fingers, legs, toes, and tongue crossed, hoping that the movie we watch will be Percy Jackson,” I reply like there should be a “duh” added onto the end.
After lunch, we went to the auditorium where we were going to watch the movie. We ended up sitting in the third row to the right a bit; the fourth row was already taken. Everyone was crammed together. After a while it became hot and stuffy. When the teachers announced that we were going to watch Percy Jackson and the Olympians everyone yelled, “YES!”
There was a part in the movie Leeausha didn’t get so I explained it to her, when I hear this, “SHHHH!” somewhere down the row. So I look down the row and found it had come from Mckensi.
Right away, I replied, “You SHHH!” After that, every time one of us would laugh, the other would shush them.
For two weeks after the movie day, all we would say to each other was, “Shut up,” or “Be quiet.” The response I used the most was, “Be quiet, no one likes
Grover said “ i'm your protector and you are a demigod.” Percy’s mom said” your father is poseidon god of water. Also,
Plot: Percy is a unique boy. He has dyslexia and ADHD. During a field trip with his class, he was called in by Mrs. Dodds, expecting to get detention for a month, which was normal for him. But,
lessons are learned from making mistakes and if you never make mistakes there's nothing to learn from it. Francois Marie Arouet Voltaire wrote, “Error is a hardy plant; it flourishes in every soil.” this means that everyone can make mistakes its always there and you can not get rid of
When my brother distractedly replied, "Uh-huh," and continued reading, the other girl rolled her eyes, chuckled, and replied, "You retard."
Maxwell Snyder Mazza P.7 11-21-14 The House of the Red Death Edgar Allan Poe was a very twisted man, his mind is represented vividly in all of the hundreds of stories he wrote. Naturally, people believe Poe would spill his mind out onto the paper in front of him causing people to believe the stories he wrote correlates to his own life. In two very famous Poe stories, “The Masque of the Red Death” and “The Fall of the House of Usher”, he really seemed to let his mind flow and his conscious leak onto the paper.
While every relationship is different in many, many ways, it’s certainly obvious that no matter what kind of relationship you’re hoping for, to have a strong one, it’s going to require work. The story of Yours, Mine and Ours revolves around the relationships between the North and Beardsley families following their parent’s unexpected marriage. It’s touching, and heartfelt, and simply illustrates the fact that making a happy healthy family isn’t easy. The three main elements in the work of a relationship are Time, Energy, and Risk, and this is an in depth look at each of those factors and their place in the movie.
Can a person every truly make an error? Evidenced by the company Kodak, it is merely the amount of audacity one procures that determines whether or not an error truly is as irrevocable as it appears. To clarify, Kodak planned to release a WiFi camera in 2005, but chose to suppress the idea due to the uncertainty of customer reaction. Consequently, rival companies heard of Kodak’s proposition, and mimicked it before the original company’s release. In the end, Kodak’s real misjudgement was being afraid of how the people would respond to the idea, since they failed to obtain a potential profit. To the general audience, this quote means that people have to acquire perils in order to truly avoid mistakes. Additionally, if people do not make mistakes, they will never find the correct solution, as they had never learned from their miscalculations.
“All men make mistakes, but a good man yields when he knows his course is wrong, and repairs the evil: the only crime is pride.” This excerpt from Antigone is a very powerful statement. People will always make mistakes but it’s just about how you try to make up for them. I make mistakes all the time but I always try my hardest to do what I can to make it right.
The third and last part of the seven-part movie was more specific of a topic, which was explaining why the same situation happens in Michigan and Sweden and the outcomes are different. A Swedish-owned company closed manufacturing plants in Michigan and Sweden, the Electrolux Corporation picked up and moved to Mexico for cheaper labor. This move affected over 3,000 workers in Michigan. Within this section entitled, it is Not Just a Paycheck; there are three arguments; the first argues that layoffs, unemployment, and job insecurity have a negative effect on health. These three factors definitely cause negative affects on health because as financials decrease so does health.
Through the major motion film First, Do no harm, they showed how a young boy struggles with epilepsy and how his family reacts. It also shows how naive humans can be to trust someone who thinks they are doing the best for a young patient because, they themselves are not educated enough on the subject of the young boy’s illness. It shows the struggles of communication between the (a) family, (b) medical team, and (c) the boy himself. (Abrahams, et al., 1997)
This movie is an adaptation of a fictional novel that based their characters from ancient Greek mythology. The story in the movie starts off when Poseidon is at the Empire state building in New York City and Zeus points out that there is not lightning. Zeus’ lightning bolt had been stolen and Percy was being blamed for it. If the bolt was not returned within fourteen days there would be a war. Percy has ADHD and Dyslexia which makes school difficult for him and does not understand why everything is happening. During the field trip to the museum Ms.Dodds, his substitute teacher, scolds him about the lightning bolt but Grover and Mr.Brunner make her leave and explain that they are there to protect them but they must go to camp. Percy gets a weapon
After we were all comfortable, we turned the lights off, closed the curtains, and started the movie. Horror movies are always better in the dark.
The fable Six Blind Men and an Elephant is able to show that having a broad paradigm is better than having a limited one. Each man in the fable did feel the elephant, but only in one spot. All of their observations did describe a part of an elephant, but each observation alone does not correctly describe an elephant. If they were able to accept all of the observations, then they would all have a clear thought of what an elephant really looks like just by feeling a part of it.
Mi nombre es Jahmina, but you probably already knew that. My title comes from the first book I ever wrote. Right now this book is being edited so the plot actually makes sense. I am a fanatic of comic books, supernatural beings, and Power Rangers. Ever since I was little I wanted to be a power ranger.
As I walk into the theater room I notice the feeling of popcorn crumbling beneath my feet which gives me the funny mental image of me being a giant and then I feel the spot where someone had spilt a little of their soda and the floor is a little sticky I then proceed to a seat that fits my likening and sit down and patiently wait for the movie to
