As a conclusion, the bulls have one of the longest most exciting journeys in the NBA. It all started in 1966 season when they first entered the league and got the best record by any expansion team in NBA history. In the mid-1980s the bulls started their golden era by drafting Michael Jordan , the golden boy of his era, but they still didn’t win any championships until the 1990s when they won six championships
The Heat was once a dominating force in the league for the past few years. From 2010-2014, led by the Big Three of LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh, they build the best trio combination in the league. They've been in the NBA Finals for four consecutive years and won two championships during those times.
The Chicago Bulls are the best team that in the NBA for the past, present, and in the future. The city of Chicago has come and go with Hall of Fame all-stars like Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, Derrick Rose, and Jimmy Butler. Also, there are new upcoming recruits coming in from different teams or colleges. Although the Bulls haven’t really accomplished anything these past years, but people think they could do some damage during the season.
It all started back in 1984. Up until this point the Bulls management had tried to build the team around shooting guard Reggie Theus, however it was unsuccessful. The team records had consistently been under 500. It was then decided by the Chicago Bulls, managed by Jerry Krause, to draft the shooting guard Michael Jordan and from here on out they would build the team around Jordan. In Jordan’s first season, he would set franchise records for scoring and steals. The Bulls made it back to the playoffs and the chips would continue to fall into place.
The Bulls this season went 48-34 and clinched a playoff spot for the thirty third time since joining the league in 1966. Their season came to end when they lost in game 5 at home to the Washington Wizards. They were a healthy team at the beginning of the season when Derrick Rose returned from being out due to knee surgery, but his return did not last long. The Bulls lost their key player for another season after Rose injured his right knee in November of 2013, a whole year after injuring his left knee in 2012. The Bulls also lost Luol Deng when he was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers for Andrew Bynum, and three future draft picks. The Bulls have struggled over the past few years with injuries and
The way that the Bulls have shaped America the most was by selecting a small little shooting guard from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The Bulls used their 3rd overall selection to take Michael Jordan, the player that would change history and never look back again. Michael Jordan would go on to win six total championships for the city of chicago. In those championship seasons Chicago’s economy sky rocketed. Along with the multiple championships that Jordan won in his career he also went on to win the NBA scoring title 10 times and also won a defensive player of the year award. Perhaps what Jordan did most to change America would be coming out with own personal brand. Jordan himself has released 30 signature shoe models
The 76ers early history was victorious and made the city of Philadelphia something to be excited about. The 76ers won two championships as the Syracuse Nationals, with superstar Wilt Chamberlain. He was the first and only player to score 100 points in an NBA game. Later, when they became the 76ers, they acquired Hall of Famers Charles Barkley, Julius Erving, and MVP Moses Malone. They won the NBA Finals in the 1982-1983 season, sweeping the Los Angeles Lakers. Furthermore, the 76ers had a great time of history from 1976-1987, going to the NBA Finals four times and winning once. Winning times came to an end as from 1992 to 1996, the 76ers never had a winning season. This time was known as the “Dark Ages.” During this time, they were absolutely a team to laugh
Although the Bulls were a good team with Jordan, they became virtually unstoppable once Phil Jackson took over as head coach. In the nine years that Jackson coached the Bulls, they lost in the Eastern Conference Finals the first year and won the championship every other year that he and Jordan were together (Phil Jackson, n.d.). There were two years in between their two separate three-in-a-row championship runs because Jordan retired from basketball to play
During its memorable years with basketball superstar Michael Jordon, the Chicago Bulls became on of the most dominant sports teams in the history of sports. They won six NBA Championships (1991, 1992, 1993, 1996, 1997, 1998) and remain as one of the elite franchises in the league.
II.Dennis Rodman, Shirley Rodman, Debra Rodman, Kim Rodman, Lorita Westbrook, Sheldon Steele, Anicka Bakes, Alexis Rodman, Bryne Rich, Detroit Pistons 86-89, San Antonio Spurs 93-95, Chicago Bulls 95-99
In 1887 the Bulls acquired Scottie Pippen and Horace Grant 2 very young talented rookies to help Jordan, this season Michael made it past the first round of the playoffs beating the Cavaliers in 5 games but then ended up getting bested by the Detroit Pistons in 5 games. Jordan took home every major honor, he won his first Most Valuable Player, first Defensive Player of the Year, was voted for the All-NBA First Team, The All Star game Most Valuable Player, and the NBA Slam Dunk Contest winner. This was Jordan's first amazing explosive season where he started becoming the G.O.A.T. 1988-89 season Jordan was again the NBA’s leading scorer and this time the Bulls made it to to Conference Finals for the 3rd time ever. In the First round of the playoffs Chicago beat the Cavaliers in 5 games, in the second round they beat the Knicks and advanced to the Finals against the Detroit Pistons where they were bested in 5 games.
Business in Cleveland rose; the Quicken Loans arena received a new court design and the largest scoreboard in the NBA. LeBron choosing to come back also made other great players join the team. The Cavs signed arguably the best power forward in the league, Kevin Love. We received two great guards; J.R. Smith and Iman Shumpert. Another acquisition was Timofey Mozgov, a seven-foot center to help defend the paint. There was so much hype in the city of Cleveland that summer. The first game with this amazing team did not turn out so good. We ended up losing to the New York Knicks on the home opener. It killed all of the hype. Everyone knew what this team was capable of once they came together as a unit and learned how to play with each other. The beginning of the season was mediocre. We did not do too well but we definitely were not bad. Things started to click and we began to dominate every team. It was time for the playoffs. This was the first time we had made it back since the season LeBron left to Miami. We ended up sweeping the Milwaukee Bucks 4-0 in the first round. The second round, we ended up beating the Chicago Bulls and advancing. The third round, we beat the Atlanta Hawks. We were going to the NBA
Michael built the Chicago Bulls from the ground up and transformed them into the unstoppable team that people saw during the late 80’s and early 90’s. The Bulls of the 90’s were a team that, regardless of your team loyalty, you had to watch Michael Jordan. His achievements during that time set a bar that was unreachable for other players. From the time he retired the 2nd time, sportswriters have been looking for someone to replace him someone to fill in for Michael.
Jordan was a very big part of the Chicago Bulls by helping them achieve top scores and ranks placing them in the memories of fans and people worldwide to this day. There is no doubt that Michael Jordan was special. But what he did for his team will never be forgotten. The attainments of his career were spectacular. His six time NBA finals MVP awards are just a glimpse at how great he was.

There have been several events that have affected my life. there's times that life will hit you hard that will make you fall over but you will need to get back up and continue what you started. This is how i viewed myself with my ambitious journey of basketball. I was around seven years old when I was bored at home and I turned on the TV and was skipping through the channels and I wanted to see what I was going to be able to watch. I stopped at the sports channel for whatever reason and I remember that it was a Spurs game in the NBA (National Basketball Association). I was in shock seeing people jump all around being able to run from the court coast to coast being chased down by others trying to get the ball through the basket. I saw this particular player at the time on the opposing team Ray Allen from the Boston Celtics. This man had such a dominant presence on the court just getting the ball and being able to shoot the ball in any given time in whatever position he was in either it was going to be contested or open he gets the ball its an automatic scoring machine. This got me very fascinated and i began to start watching basketball since that day. I also wanted to try basketball wanted to play the position Ray allen played a shooting guard, one that is a spot up shooter and is in charge to score from a convertible distance away.
