Montesano High School: A Case Study

Masconomet Regional School District is an amazing learning institution filled with passionate educators, supportive parents and engaged students. As a result, I have loved every day of being the Principal of Masconomet Regional High School.

If I was the principle of Metro High School I would use the four types of reinforcements to motivate the students to improve performance and attendance.* This change of policies would realisticly take place over long period of time with a good system of data collection and other types of control functions. It is also very important to have the parents of the children involve as much as possible.

High School is an incredibly important period of life. It influences your social, academic, and personal life for four years, and prepares you for college and a career. This is the reason County Prep High School is my school of choice. County Prep's thriving social environment, challenging academic curriculum, and wide variety of electives will help me successfully carry out my plans for the future.

We, the students of Matoaca Middle School, demand the return of a less cruel grade system, as the current one is simply inadequate. That system has negatively affected or will affect every student at the Matoaca Middle School, and will continue this downward spiral for the coming years. Furthermore, your actions caught us unprepared for the simple hostility displayed with your actions. The signatories pledge their dedication to the cause. We hope that you consider to agree to the outlined request, so that this is resolved quickly. The current system should be resigned to the dustbins of the school’s history, and we can move forward for the future students.

Seniors! This is it! This is your last year as a Husky here at CHHS. The counselors have made this very clear that now is the time to start figuring out the next step after high school.

MSTT met with Reynaldo to continue to examine he's issues and concerns regarding MSTT services. To also examine what areas he would like to work on and improve. Reynaldo is 17 years old turning 18 within a few months, and is really struggling in school. MSTT spoke with Reynaldo about his plans for the future, and where does he see himself in two years. Reynaldo express is willingness to attend college he just does not know what he wants to study once he's there. MSTT address with Reynaldo the importance of keeping his goal of attending college and use it as a motivitor to help him get through high school. Right now Reynaldo has to take 11th and 12th grade classes in order to graduate on time. MSTT will continue to monitor Reynaldo academic

In the hypothetical case, the Rockshire High School official had reasonable cause to search Britney Sullivan’s cell phone for evidence that she and other students cheated on their AP History exam. The administrator suspects Britney because (1) the students scored extremely high on the AP History test (2) Britney has been in trouble in the past and is in the AP History class and (3) a teacher received a reliable tip from another student describing how the students cheated using social media. According to the Supreme Court case (New Jersey v. TLO, 469 U.S. 325 (1985).) the school administrator had the right to search the contents of the student's cell phone, since the administrator had reasonable cause to suspect the student of school policy infractions. The court’s decision in this case is that the student officials do not hold the same accountability of the police under search and seizure. Police are held to the strict accountability of probable cause while school officials according to the Supreme Court have only to prove reasonable cause. In this hypothetical case the supreme court would support the decision of the Rockshire High School administration to search a student's cell phone as evidence for cheating based on the fact that the administrator had evidence to support reasonable cause. Sebastian is a five-year-old male student at Desert Springs Elementary school, in the SunKids preschool program. Until few weeks ago he had an IEP for social emotional, and speech and OT as related services. Before his annual IEP meeting MET administered the BASC3 formal assessment and he tested out of Special Ed. with amazing results. He identifies with Asian/American ethnic category and speaks only English, which is the language spoken at home.

Emerson Csorba thinks that a campaign such as ALS Ice Bucket Challenge and Lean In creates a social pressure because they feel the need to engage in a particular socially conscious activity. Also “…. I believe the Internet does have a positive effect on society. Technology contributes to raising money and awareness for organizations, and it also seeks out opportunities to connect with

The school's sole appeal is that it is the "#1 traditional middle school in the state of Florida". Or, it was in my case. A lot of students got in automatically because they had attended Sunset Elementary, completely erasing the notion that it is a competitive school (to my knowledge this is no longer an issue, but it was when I was attending). The school, while it is #1, is only considered good because schools in Miami-Dade just generally suck. Students go to Carver believing it is an opportunity to learn more, from the best teachers the district has to offer. This is simply not the case, as, like every other school, is controlled by the district and is consequently focused on test-taking rather than learning. Again, like every other school.

Across the nation, students attending K-12 schools have extremely poor options when the bell rings for lunch hour. School lunches served in the cafeteria are not only commonly unhealthy and lacking nutritional value, but outright unappetizing. While the "empty calories" served contribute to the growing rate of obesity in America, poor nutrition also has a significant impact on student concentration and performance in school. According to the County of Los Angeles' Public Health Department, nearly 20% of children in grades 5, 7, and 9 are obese, and approximately 21% of adults are obese within the San Fernando Valley. For these reasons, I am proposing a program to offer a small farmer's market once a week at Verdugo Hills High School (a medium sized public high school located in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles) during lunch hour, selling both affordable and healthy food options.

The Internet Affects Pop Culture The internet has had an impact on pop culture, through social media we discover new products which would be harder without the internet. In today society artists, writers are able to show product of their work easier than in the past. It becomes easier to get a contract deal than before. The internet provides ways to build a larger community, and provide easier access to the contents shared by the users.

The internet is the easier way for people to communicate with each other. It has made the world smaller by bringing people together everywhere and any time. This invention has important tools for people to contact and it has changed their way of communication in today busy world. In fact people are becoming totally dependent on the internet as a way of communication in their daily life, business and work. The limitation of old communication tools has made the use of internet for communication is wider all over the world .

It is one of the biggest contributors in making the world into a global village. Use of internet has grown tremendously since it was introduced. It is mostly because of its flexibility. Nowadays one can access the internet easily. Most people have computers in their homes but even the ones who don't they can always go to cyber cafes where this service is provided.
