As we found our seats the first round of trucks had already finished. I was not that mad about missing the first round anyway. They were not the more popular trucks that everyone came to watch. Second round of racing was about to commence. I was a big fan of Monster Jam as a kid, so I knew a lot of the trucks’ names. Maximum Destruction came powering through the tunnel like he did not have control of the truck. The stadium starts playing a song. All I hear is “Who let the dogs out!?” As I thought, Monster Mutt came out of the tunnel and lost one of his left ear. The crowd started to whistle and cheer, because you come to Monster Jam to see trucks crash. The race has one main jump, a turnaround, another jump, then about three cars to drive over. …show more content…
An underdog by the name of Soldier Fortune. He was in the military before he was a Monster truck driver. His opponent was a mainstream truck, the top name of all Monster Jam, Grave Digger. I’ve known Grave Digger ever since I was in the 2nd grade. Grave Digger was driven by Pablo Huffaker. He was the original driver before he retired, his son, Adam Anderson took the role of driving the truck for the Monster Jam events. After Adam won the 2008 freestyle he sold Grave Digger to Charlie Pauken, the current drive of Grave Digger. This Monster Jam would be the first Monster Jam I would see Charlie drive. I was hoping he would not ruin the reputation of the truck and how iconic it is. The lights change again. They were neck and neck through the whole race up until the second lap. Soldier Fortune did not take the corner as well as planned and could not catch enough speed to hit the main jump. He and Grave Digger were still neck and neck, but when the both took off, Soldier Fortune didn’t make it as far. He ended up hitting the back of the landing ramp and losing the race. Grave Digger won as everyone wanted and expected. It was intermission time, so Dustin, Andy, and I went to find something to eat. The lines looked as if there we were at a retail store on Black Friday. We all agreed on sitting back down and waiting for a guy to come around that sells those little snacks in a box or we could wait it out and go eat after the event was …show more content…
The final two competitors would freestyle at the same time for three minutes, the two came out of opposite sided tunnels. The two trucks were doing mirrored stunts for almost 2 minutes of the event. Then El Toro Loco parted off and revved his engine. He then shot forward heading towards a ramp. The ramp was a strange one. It went straight up then had cars at the top. I didn’t know what was going to happen. El Toro Loco went up the ramp then all of a sudden his truck started doing a backflip. I was in amazement and shock at the same time. I was also scared and worried how he was going to land and amazed that he actually just did that. When Toro Loco came down he landed on his rear wheels and bounced up and then rode a wheelie for 3-4 seconds, the crowd went crazy. El Toro Loco was everyone's new favorite and not the underdog anymore. It was sad to see Grave Digger not finish top but he has been around for a long time. It was the new comers’ turn to run the show. Until next time I’ll still be rooting for Grave Digger, but I will be watching for El Toro Loco from here on
According to the sprint car racing sanctioning body United States Auto Club, Clauson was leading the race at that time and about to overtake a backmarker when he crashed while passing lapped traffic. Clauson’s car rolled and was hit by another competitor, sending, Clauson's car flipping and eventually sliding down the banked track.

There is a small street that is called maple street that is where the monster live. “The monsters due on maple street” is a story about people turning into a mob and alien spacecraft that flew over their neighborhood. “The monster due on maple street” is unrealistic because Tommy believed in aliens, Les Goodman’s car started and stopped on its own, and the lights went off and on in the houses.
Johnny Cade did not kill unlawfully and also he can’t apply for a minor committing the crime because he’s 16, one year over the limit. According to Oklahoma law, first-degree murder is a person “unlawfully and with malice aforethought causes the death of another human being.” It is also not manslaughter because it is not a homicide committed without a design to effect death and in the heat of passion, but in a cruel and unusual manner, or by means of a dangerous weapon. Johnny did not have time to think and had to stab Bob to save Ponyboy’s life. Ponyboy was being drowned and to save him, Johnny had to commit the act of homicide. It lists that it was a justifiable homicide because it means that homicide is legal when committed in the lawful
Super Puck Jam is a fast paced, 70's-hockey-themed beat-em-up business! The team sneers and also throws containers as well as barrels over the glass as you allow pucks fly at the limiting team, their goalkeeper, as well as other person that continues to be in your instructions.
American folktales are something many of us grew up hearing mom or dad read before bed. Johnny Appleseed is a legendary hero of many of these stories, and with good reason. Based on a man named John Chapman, an American pioneer, who wore a pan as a hat and traveled to spread apple trees and compassion to the early Westerners. His vision was to sate hunger issues with blossoming apple trees abounding. Wherever he went, love and peace were spread, and this is shown with his many friends; including Native Americans, settlers, and animals!
I wore a pot on my head. I'm John Chapman, but better known as Johnny Appleseed! I was born on September 26, 1774 in good ole' Leominster, Massachusetts. My father Is Nathaniel Chapman and Elizabeth Chapman was my mother. My mom died in childbirth with one of my brothers sadly. My father remaried after to Lucy Cooley. I had a total of 10 brothers and sisters growing up. I liked playing outside as a boy and I would climb trees. I grew to love the outdoors. I later on was an orchardist and nurseryman. I left my home as a young adult to travel the Midwestern part of America! I ventured into the wilderness without any shoes on, a satchel, and a pot on my head. I traveled widely planting apple trees. Apples actually saved my life in a hard winter.

Maldynado jammed it into reverse and jumped out of the cab. Rear first, (285) and lastly when Amaranthe needed a distraction from the guards Maldynado didn't even have to think about her request he was so brave he, just ran out into the crowed and stole a truck while an enforcer yelled, “Stop them!” and then someone said, “They’re stealing our truck!”
Charles Kuralt once said, “Good teachers know how to bring out the best in students.” This statement has never been truer when describing Jamey Trotter. He has been inspiring students for almost two decades now and he is one of the most incredible people you will meet. He is forty-one years old and he was born in a state known for its subtropical beaches, South Carolina. He stayed in his hometown for college and got his bachelor and master degrees in English. After graduating college he moved around a bit until finally settling down in Denver where he now lives with his family. Jamey enjoys a multitude of hobbies. One of his favorite hobbies is to collect books. He particularly enjoys fiction over any other genre. Another hobby of his is mountain
I want to try to my best capability to help and further the potential of this band. Even though we are losing many great seniors this year- we can still pursue greater things. One sunny, hot afternoon at switchback mx in Orlando, Florida I was preparing get two rookie supercross riders here train. I was getting very nervous that adam cianciarulo, and ryan lojack would not be here on time to train. I stepped out of the van and smelled the 2-strokes, and heard the roaring bikes. Then finally Adam and Ryan finally showed up! Ricky Carmichael and Ryan Villopoto and I told them to go get ready, because we had a lot of work to do today. Ryan, and Adam went to work on the track battling it out, when I waved them in.
I would recommend Coach needs to continue to explore new technologies such as social networking websites as a cost effective consumer communication opportunity to increase online and store sales and build brand awareness. As part of Coach’s direct marketing strategy, the growing number of entering to the Coach’s websites provide an opportunity to increase the size of databases of each country’s households.
Healthcare providers need to have quick access to all of a patient's medical information whenever and wherever the patient goes for care. There are systems to help standardize electronic medical records, such as the National Health Information Infrastructure, which would help provide qucik and easy access to the patient's information. The department of Health and Human Services has made an effort to proctect the privacy of all medical records by enacting a Privacy Rule under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act. These regulations were designed to help protect a patients' identifiable health information that is provided to health plans, hospitalts, doctors, and any other healthcare providers. The personal information that
What’s the one thing everyone wants to achieve in life and is the ultimate end for every action people do? Philosophers from almost every generation are trying to figure out what that is, some even referring to it as “the good”. But what is “the good”? Epicurus would argue that “the good” is simply pleasure, honor, and glory; however, that is not the ultimate end for every action people do. According to Aristotle, the ultimate end that every action seeks is happiness and that’s “the good” everyone desires. The idea of happiness being the ultimate end, is superior to Epicurus’s idea of pleasure, honor, and glory, due to the fact that all those things are intended to bring forth some form of happiness. Therefore, happiness must be what everyone
