Feminism
In society Feminism is viewed as a bad thing, but in actuality, it really isn't. Feminism is the equality of the sexes, in all aspects, socially, financially, and economically. Most people think that people who identify themselves as feminist are considered to be misandrist. Men that that classify themselves as feminist are called homosexuals. The international pop star Beyoncé however, breaks the negative stereotypes that were put out by society and gives it a completely different meaning.
Society had a way of degrading goodok concepts by giving them false images and terrible stereotypes. When people think of feminist they tend to imagine an ugly woman that probably looks like a man. Or maybe that some of them are all the same. Or that they hate men. Neither of these statements are true. In fact, there many different kinds of feminism but they all, like any other political group, have rules and boundaries. These basic rules are to be equal to men. Also, most of them don't actually hate men, many of them just aspire to be equal to men... Not dominate them. Most feminist are actually married with children. Another terrible misconception is that they're just plain ugly and that's why they're feminist. Truth with of the matter is that all (because every female is) beautiful; for example the pop star Katy

According to dictionary.com, feminism is the doctrine advocating social, political, and all other rights of women equal to those of men. Throughout history and even in present time, women have been subject to unequal treatment by their male counterparts. For example, in the biblical story of Adam and Eve, Eve is born from Adam’s rib, showing that Adam is the dominant figure in the narrative. Even today, there exists in certain professions a gender pay gap. Similarly, the way in which women are depicted in Beloved by Toni Morrison and the short story The Yellow Wallpaper by Charlotte Perkins Stetson indicates that women are able to thrive independently and take on masculine roles, while men are able to experience feminine attributes.
Feminism -” is the belief in the social, political, and economic equality of the sexes.” It's a belief that man and woman have the same equal rights. I believe some people in a religious group againt feminist because they don't believe that a woman is over to a man. Like in a church don't allow woman to preach in a service. But in some degree, both man and woman are one when it comes to marriage relationship in raising kids or getting a job. Both have the equality to provide the needs of the family. This generation a woman almost can do the work of a man. For example: Truck driver, Nurses, Doctors, Business person,

Beyonce Knowles is a well-known Grammy winning artist whose songs have been featured in the Billboard Hot 100. This female singer and songwriter's hits have been known to encourage feminist views and female empowerment. Feminism, which first gained popularity in the nineteenth century, is an ideology that advocates social, political and economical rights for women. There are several types of feminism that each seek to establish gender equality through different methods. Beyonce is credited for having aspects of both cultural and radical feminism in her work.
Feminism is the radical notion that women are human beings. It’s a quote that has been attributed to dozens of women throughout history, but no matter who whispered those wise words, they still hold a significant impact in the modern social body. Much like with the civil rights movement for African Americans, women have won their suffrage and have been granted equal rights; however, also much like the African American people, oppression is still very real for women in the modern social body. The growing disparity between the wages of males and females is frightening, the presence of a rape culture is devastating, and the failures to recognize the right of a woman to choose are cataclysmic. So, if the feminist
She is able to appeal to a number of audiences and generations. She relates to men and women of all ages, genders, races, and ethnicities. To quote Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, an influential modern feminist, in her song ‘Flawless’ she defines a feminist as “a person who believes in the social, political and economic equality of the sexes”
What is feminism? According to Merriam-Webster Dictionary the standard definition defines feminism as “the theory of the political, economic, and social equality of the sexes.” I believe the word feminism means a woman who is capable of doing the exact things a man can do. Both men and women are equal regardless the gender. There are many misconceptions when it comes to the word feminism such as, women having hatred towards men, women thinking they're above men, or only women can be feminist, and the gender stereotype. On the other hand, feminism is gender equality, acknowledging that any kind of violence is unacceptable regardless the gender, and realizing that women and men are not the same and recognizing that gender and sex are
What does it mean to be a Feminist? Does it automatically mean you hate men or does it mean you're an activist for women's rights? Contrary to popular belief, feminism is not about establishing a superior gender. It is about fighting for equality and destroying the social, cultural and historical norms set upon women throughout the world. The Twenty-first century has brought change and growth to female empowerment. Although, in many parts of the world women are given the same rights as men, they are still treated and viewed inferior to men. G.I. Jane perfectly illustrates the struggle women have gone through, even when given “identical” opportunities as men.
Discussing feminism can be confusing for many people if they lack knowledge about the term. Feminism, itself, is the support or promotion of women right’s on the grounds of social, political, and economic equality to men. More specifically, black feminism is thought to be equity; seeking equal rights for men and women, as well as, patriarchy which in today’s society is considered to be unequal power between women and men, whereas women are oppressed and systematically disadvantaged.
You all know Beyoncé from being powerful, fierce, and also from a few of her hit songs "Single Ladies" and "If I Were A Boy." You might also know her because she is married to another brilliant singer, Jay-Z. But one thing you might not know about her is that she doesn't only make Grammy winning records, but she stands up for what she believes in. She's an icon to tons of girls, a feminist, and a huge role model to me.
The idea of feminism is commonly misconstrued in society as having a pro-female only agenda. Butler, (2011) argues that feminism is simply the social, political, and economic equality of the sexes. This misconception that feminism is misandrist most likely because the word itself is female-centered.
The basis of the study originated on multiple previous studies with added variables and altered surveys. The research began with a sound base and high reliability and validity. By taking previous information, the researchers were able to revalidate older studies and add new information. This was the first study done with sole female participants; the previous studies had looked at sexist discrimination before, but with males as well. Participants’ race was varied, adding to the external validity of the results. The analysis looked at the variables individually and collectively to produce more information from the data they collected. In addition, they studied private and public feminist identity in order to eliminate issues of construct validity in the definition.
Feminists were once thought to be “hairy, ugly, man-hating, angry women” (Costello, 2014), but as times changed, the idea of who these feminists really are have changed. The connotation of feminism has changed because it was originally considered a dirty word, and something you did not want to be. Today with the help of celebrities, including Beyoncé, feminism is no longer dirty, and a lot of both females and males around the world identify as a feminist.
Many people are often misinformed or given bad first impressions of feminism. However, feminism is equal rights for all people of different race, sex, gender, and sexuality. Many of the people that give feminism a bad name, include a self-proclaimed feminist that is running for presidency, and meninists who are satirical equal rights activists. In reality, feminism is pro-gender equality and opportunities for all types of people.
