A singer named Katy Perry had a new song out called Roar that younger generations were constantly listening to, and singing non stop as it sky rocketed up the music billboards. Katy eventually told the actually meaning of the story, which was to basically be nice to others, and to be confident in yourself. What Katy did was challenge schools to make a video to her new song. The winner of the contest got a free concert at their high school by Katy Perry. What kids were not realizing was that they were setting their differences aside whether it be their weight, height, skin color, popularity, what sports they played so on. The kids were coming together to make a video that led to what they all wanted, the free concert at their school from Katy Perry. This helped reduce bulling in schools, and helped kids realize that they are all the same regardless of certain things whether it be popularity, a sport they play, how attractive they are, and several other factors. This is a video of a high school that is about 15 minutes away from where I live that made it as one of the final five contestants. In the video you see a lot of people wearing football jerseys, because the school is always really good at football. Football rules this particular high school, and sends a lot of kids to play football in college, so if you play football there you are seen as different from the others. I think the younger generations today take a lot of crap from older generations because of they way we do things. I feel a lot of older people don’t like the change with things like technology, laws, and other things along those lines, and therefore blame the younger generations. I completely agree that the younger generations have some spoiled brats, some younger people who are really rude, and don’t have manners. However I feel like we are discovering more, and more whether it is about the human body, technology, or the environment. I feel in my opinion that the younger generations are seen as dumb, irresponsible, lazy, and are not really given a chance to prove the older generations wrong. I think that with the improvements in technology we are making the world a safer place, were finding out more about the world like global warming. I don’t have examples to completely prove this its more of an opinion but I think things like the iphone, and cameras in cars now used to help with parking, or backing out of a spot are some examples that show what the younger generations have
In the video, there is a group of adolescence who don't know who they really are yet. They do not know what they will be in the future and what they want. A girl and a boy are shown looking at images of themselves being something in the future and then switching. There is confusion in this stage, and a threat of identity. As described in the chapter, adolescents must establish basic social and occupational identities, or they will be confused about their roles as adults.
The Minotaur, half man half bull, lived in Crete. Trapped in a labyrinth, constructed by the great Daedalus, the king of Crete, King Minos, demanded a tribute of seven boys and seven girls from Athens to satisfy the Minotaur’s savage hunger. But one year, Minos was deceived, for a new hero arose, Theseus, son of Aegeus, Prince of Athens. He won over the heart of Minos’s daughter, Ariadne, and used her ball of string to venture into the labyrinth to slay the Minotaur. After a hard-fought grapple within the lair of the minotaur, the beast fell to the sword of Aegeus, which Theseus had smuggled into the maze. Using the string, he found his way back out. The Labyrinth went underground, void of life, never to be seen again.

Before Aegeus could give Theseus the poison, Theseus presented the sword his father left for him and while Aegeus embraced his son, dropping the cup of poison to the floor, Medea escaped to Asia. Aegeus confessed to his son that before his arrival, he sent the son of Minos, the ruler of Crete, on a dangerous mission to hunt a bull. The bull killed the son causing Minos to demand that every nine years, seven youths and seven maidens be sacrificed to the mighty Minotaur. Theseus decided to be one of the chosen sacrifices in order to kill the Minotaur. Minos' daughter, Ariadne, falls in love with Theseus and tells him that if he takes her back to Athens and marries her, she will help him escape the Minotaur's lair. He used a ball of
