Military, college, and the workforce. These are the three choices you have, and the choices you will make after graduating from high school. The order of which of the three choices you would go in order can be vary, since there are many advantages, and disadvantages for a specific order you choose. Therefore it all comes down to which route is the most beneficially for you personally. As of now, I am in middle school and have a career ambition of becoming an airline pilot. To achieve that goal, I have decided to go with this route—Military, college, then workforce, because of my family’s economic situation, the requirements of an airline pilot, and to get as many prior experiences with piloting.

First, I decided to go to the Military first, because I may not be able to pay for college. By going to the military first, I would get paid for, and without the meals, and room costs. In addition, having medical coverage, with no annual fees, deductibles or copays, according to Top 10 Reasons to Join the Military. By going to military and college beforehand, having piloting experience and a bachelor's degree in aviation, I would possibly have the highest chance to be hired by an airline company, compare to others who only went to college and obtain a bachelor's degree, without going to the air force. In addition to just going to the military and college, I would possibly learn some other languages because of the possibilities of people boarding an airplane may not speak English, but other languages.
