Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick is represents the 8th district of Pennsylvania in the United States House of Representatives of the 114th Congress of the United States. Mike Fitzpatrick serves as a member of the Republican Party. He was first elected to Congress in 2004 and held the position until 2006, being defeated by Democrat Patrick Murphy. He ran again in 2010 against his democratic opponent Murphy. He recovered his seat from Murphy and is currently serving however he has announced he will be retiring in 2016. Mike Fitzpatrick was born on June 28th, 1963 in Philadelphia. Mike and his parents moved to Bucks County and was raised there as a child. Mike was raised in a family of Roman Catholics and this most likely influenced his early Republican beliefs. He attended Bishop Egan High School or now currently known as Conwell-Egan High School in Fairless Hills. Mike relocated to Florida and attended St. Thomas University with an academic scholarship. Michael Bowman, 47, was born in Aurora Illinois on July 18, 1970, a saturday night. He went to Allen Elementary School, Simmons Junior High, and East Aurora High School, graduating in 1988. He is the oldest out of three siblings, all being boys, him, Terrence, and Sean Bowman being the youngest. His mother was not really in his life much as he was growing up so he was raised by his grandmother, Irene Bowman. After graduating high school, he did go to college, he went to Waubonsee Community College in Illinois and Gateway Community College in Phoenix, Arizona in 2018.
