The goal for treatment was to reduce the patient’s urges as well as his practice in autoerotic, where he will resist and act out his fantasies, and change his heterosexual functioning. According to the doctor, for this treatment to work the patient checked in to an inpatient facility with wife and two children, into a flat for six weeks. To get rid of the fantasies the doctor taught the patient coping strategies and covert sensitization. The wife was very involved with this and helped monitor his treatment. When a celebrity passes, if it is something that the world does not agree with, that is what they are remembered for. Their whole career is forgotten. Take Michael Hutchence and David Carradine, they are unfortunately remembered for not their long careers but from passing with autoerotic asphyxiation. Michael Hutchens is known for being the lead singer of INXS music group. In November of 1997, Hutchence who was only thirty-seven was found dead in his hotel room in Sydney. Hutchens was found naked with only a leather belt around his neck. His death was ruled as a suicide, however, his family and close friends argued and said that is not him, Hutchens would never go out that way. His band members and close friend all said that Hutchens was a risk taker and was excessive about it, however, he hardly ever did drugs or drank alcohol like everyone thought, being the typical rock star. In June 2009 Carradine was found was found in his hotel suite in Bangkok. In his hotel room, the police found paraphernalia this included women’s stockings and a wig. He was found hanging in in his closet with a cord wrapped around his genitals and his neck. The Thai police said he passed from heart failure or asphyxia, however, was unclear if it was suicide. The family had another autopsy done and found evidence of resent orgasm.
