You make your own choices, and every choice that you make has a consequence. I do not regret the choices that I have made. Some of them are more difficult to take than the others, so that is the reason why I wanted to bring this question Have you ever wonder how would it feel to change your life completely? a three hundred and sixty-degree change, like start, over, from the very beginning. Well, that is what I did. Childhood … Those days when you used to think that the fairies were real and that the princess was always had a prince to save them, that the fact that you had to share your toys was really scary to you. Well even knowing that when you are a child you think that is really hard for you to be around boring adults that got to work and do boring things, at some point, you start to miss that. My childhood was a really good one , I had a lot of friends to spend time with , the knew things that I tasks that I had to take every day to learn like when I started reading in Spanish “ Mi mama’ me …show more content…
In April nineteen Nicolas Maduro got “elected” as the president of Venezuela, and not later in February fifteen there was a march in Venezuela as the results of the injustice that Venezuela was passing through , the unfair decisions that the government had made, at that time the shortage had begun, letting the humble people without food to survive so we took the decision to come to the USA and live the American dream .My mother was really scared because she used to teach in a public University that was ventilated with the government, and they tried to attempt against her because she did not support the government, due to all those things that I have said we made the decision to come and make a new life in the USA the dream that the majority of the people have
The time that we moved to Westcliffe, Colorado. I always remember the times when my parents talked about coming out to Colorado. They said it was a place where they always felt good, especially my mom. Most of the time when we were back there, I remember that my mom was sick in bed, because of the heat and humidity. It made her really sick, but when she came out here, she always felt much better. That was one of the main reasons, why we moved here, because my dad knew that mom would feel better here in higher elevation. So when the day came, I was glad we moved somewhere else.
One memory that vividly sticks out in my mind from my childhood was that special summer when my parents told me we were going on a trip to Disney World. It was in June of 2001 and I was twelve years old. My parents planned the trip six months in advance. As a child, it seemed as if the time would never come. When it finally came time to pack and leave, I felt eager and excited. The night before our departure, I could not sleep at all. My most memorable childhood experience is of going to Walt Disney World with my family and having a great time.Vacations with the family were always joyous.
This delicate subject is affecting millions Venezuelan citizens as well as raising concerns of family members abroad fearing for their kin. It has affected generations so much that many have decided to leave behind jobs, friends and family to flee from its own country. Venezuela is one of the most dangerous countries at present, a dangerous country where “economic crises and high inflation, like panic-induced runs on banks, generate self-serving, defensive behaviors that tend to spiral out of control,” (Corrales, 15). Venezuelan citizens are having a really difficult time realizing how bad their country is doing and how their families are trying to survive day by day.
In Elementary, I really enjoyed coming to school and learning about things I was interested in. At age 6, my older brother, Anthony, passed away in a car accident. This was a hard time for my family, but we eventually got through it. My Grandmother moved back in with us after
Since the ability to communicate was invented, conservatives have always argued that there is a liberal bias in the media; whereas the liberals have argued that the conservatives have used the media to control people with fear and create a division in the public. Let’s first look at what is a liberal and conservative. As defined by the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, a liberal is defined as “believing that government should be active in supporting social and political change” and “not opposed to new ideas or ways of behaving that are not traditional or widely accepted;” whereas a conservative is defined as “believing in the value of established and traditional practices in politics and society” and “not liking or accepting changes or new ideas”
My childhood was just like every other average child's. I wasn’t spoiled and I didn’t go on lavish vacations or anything. I was disciplined and I threw fits but never the less, I was loved.
Childhood is something that every human must go through in life. It is filled with similar milestones like your first birthday, first game, and things very similar to that, yet, everyone’s childhood varies, causing there to be differences in personality, paths we take and even how we view the world. The biggest influence in my life would definitely be where I grew up. I moved to three different places that were completely different from one another. I believe that each of these places have contributed toward the person I ended up growing into.
Childhood; such as loss of parent, going to Boarding School, divorce of parent, bullying etc.
My childhood took place in two very different settings. Every summer my parents, sister and I would drive across the country, from Tucson, Arizona to Morgantown, West Virginia, in our minivan stopping at many tourist places on the way. Because of this, I have been to 45 states. This exposed me the outside world. For six weeks, every summer I would be able to run around the humid forests, climb on rocks and make quirky videos with my cousins. Having a home in two different states was hard growing up. I had friends from all around and I would only see my best friends from West Virginia every summer.
Have you ever done something you wished you should have not done at that exact moment? Well, I have, and I did some pretty awful things. Everyone in the world has faced this situation before, and that is regret. I can tell you, that it is not pleasurable feeling. Regrets are inevitable; they are like daggers that pierce into you, and hurt you. It leaves you with a feeling of guilt and sorrow. I have many regrets in my life, and it involves stealing, spending time with people that have bad influences, and not focusing, or striving for success in life. You should think before you make a choice or an act. Look at the situation deeply. Look for what is right and wrong. Think what it can do or impact, and then make the right decision. There are
What was it about that time that made you happy, was it as a child or an adult?
I am the daughter of immigrants, an American and Venezuelan citizen who moved to the United States almost four months ago after living my whole life in a small border-town between Venezuela and Colombia. Venezuela is known for its political instability, and while living there I became aware of issues such as corruption, bribery, immigration, drug and human trafficking and abuse of authority. Since I attended school in Colombia, something very common in border areas, I was denied several times the right to enter my country without any justification or motive, I was forced to miss school for weeks when the government decided to stop the flow of people in and out of Venezuela and not provide a way for me, my siblings and thousands of other students to receive our education. I then decided to move here, my homeland, in search of better opportunities and quality of life but I am well aware that even here and even if it doesn’t directly affect me, immigration is a growing issue. These obstacles were very hard to deal with, but they made me the human rights advocate, politically aware, member of my community’s Model UN society since 2012, member of my school’s speech and debate team and potential political analyzer I am

The two – state solution of Cyprus has unofficially become the status quo. There are various factors pushing for the establishment the divide of Cyprus. The largest driving factor is the Turkish and Greek ethnic divide. The two ethnic groups remain distinct, which are divided on linguistic, cultural, and religious lines (Meier, 457). The Greek Cypriots practice Greek orthodox and Turkish Cypriots practice Islam. Furthermore, both groups refer to Greece or Turkey as “motherlands” to their identities. (Meier, 457). Traditional family customs have discouraged the intermarriage of Greek and Turkish populations (Meier 461). Turkish and Greek Cypriot communities have established their own services such as
Let's go back and reminisce from my 5th birthday all the way through my 18th birthday. All the years in between also. My childhood mostly spent either in school, swimming, running, or just doing what I like to do. Now what I mean by all that is let's go over all my past childhood and past stories from sitting in my dark blue rocking chair on my porch on my 80th birthday.
