I stepped out of the car and the sauna like weather caught me by surprise. The sun was like an inescapable fever. I looked around to see my surroundings, the pretty blue water, the humidity, and the unknown culture around me, I was in Mexico. Puerto Penasco, Sonora, Mexico to be exact. I woke up July 29th packed and ready to go to Mexico with my friend. Sounds interesting, huh, well it is. I was going on a road trip with my friend, Caroline and her family for her 16th birthday celebration. All day I was waiting and anticipating the venture we were about to go on. We left at 8:00pm at night and set off on the road, 6 hours later I woke up to Las Vegas, New Mexico gas station stop, as I walked out I expected the air to be cold and chilly, but instead it was warm and humid in a weird way I enjoyed it because it was something I never experienced. As we walked in things looked different, the smell was different the food was different, I was different. We continued to drive and took a stop in Arizona for a night, we arrived at the hotel around 1 o'clock the first thing I noticed was the big palm trees, so beautiful and full. The sun felt like it was piercing your skin and a tan was unavoidable, even the night felt as though the sun was hiding behind the moon still giving off heat! The hotel was also a beauty it looked like a castle and at night the trees lit up, it was like a christmas palm tree. My whole surroundings were new, it made me feel like I was new. We drove for a
In 1846 the united States went to war with mexico, was this justified or unconstitutional?
[Tension arose between the United States and Mexico when the United States decided to annex Texas, but the two countries couldn’t come to an agreement about where the border was. When sixteen American soldiers were patrolling along the north of the Rio Grande River, Mexicans shot every one of them dead, thus making the United States declare war on Mexico.] The U.S. was not justified in going to war with Mexico.*One reason is that the shooting of the U.S. troops occurred on disputed territory, so Mexico believed that the United States was invading their land.* [Doc C is an informative article about Mexico’s viewpoint of the war, written by Jesus Velasco-Marquez in 2006.] Doc C states,
Do you ever feel as though you were robbed? Well, that's how the Mexicans felt when Texas was annexed to the US. Texas gained independence from Mexico in 1936. With that, Texas created a border for Mexico to cross, but Mexico was uninformed. So when they crossed the supposed border, the US was furious and so they went and stood at the border.
The United States has been in multiple conflicts throughout the 19th century. Unlike the War of 1812, American Revolution, the Mexican American War was with completely different entities (meaning not a fight with Britain). There were many ways that you can interpret whether America was right or wrong in waging war against Mexico. I believe that America had all right to fight against Mexico in terms of the treatment of our envoys, the Manifest Destiny and congress. In America’s defense, God gave them visions to connect and expand the nation from coast to coast.
The United States went to war with Mexico in 1846 after the two countries disputed over its borders along the Nueces and Rio Grande River. The war resulted in the annexation of Texas and Mexico's other territories by the U.S. while killing/sacrificing thousands of lives on each side. The United States was not justified to start this war against Mexico. The United States did not have proper justification to respond with violence against the Mexican government and threaten them by the annexation of Texas, nor did they have the right to steal their land and disrespect the Mexican ordinance of freedom. The war with Mexico was also a product of the United States’ belief of manifest destiny, which hypnotized the whole nation to believe this idea
Should the US have all of Texas and California or should we not have them? The US went to war with Mexico in 1846. In this war the US wanted to have the Manifest Destiny come true, so the US fought over land which is now called Texas. After the war had been fought over Texas, the US had a little later had attempted to take more land. In which, they were successful and now we call the land they fought for part of California. The US was right for going to war with Mexico for three reasons, Manifest Destiny, there was a vote on it, and Mexico attacked first.
Every year I go to Mexico, during spring break and summer. It's always relaxing laying on the beach or going on a nice refreshing swim in the 70 degree water. It was an average day down in mexico during the summer of 2017; I remember my family and I relaxing at home after a long day on the boat. I was feeding the street dog because I could tell she was either having puppies, or already had puppies. She was starving to death, her ribs were showing, I knew I had to help her. I started feeding her three times a day so she could start producing milk if she’s already had the puppies; or so she could keep the puppies healthy while she was still pregnant. A few days later I walked outside to feed her, and I hear whimpering like the sound newborn puppies
One of the most relaxing places on earth is Mexico (Cabo San Lucas). In Cabo, there are many fun activities that you can do. Some of the many activities are swimming with dolphins, boating, ziplining, cruises, and they even have certain places where you can hold baby lions! When you're on a resort near the ocean, you will get to feel the cool ocean breeze on a warm soothing day. While you're there, why not take a swim in the wavy ocean or even an infinity pool?
Everything was so new and yet so familiar. Places I have seen and places I have not. A new and funny feeling swam through my body unsure what to think about this feeling. Never felt it before, and I somehow knew it wouldn’t be that last.

In my opinion It is wise to leave New Mexico for other states because the state need more jobs, minimum wage needs to be raised and it also needs to have more universities and community colleges with a larger variety of careers. New Mexico is having a problem where there is people who has more opportunities to success in other states rather than this one. Galvin states “Between 2010 and 2016, about 53,000 more people moved out of New Mexico than moved in, according to U.S. Census estimates” ( Galvin, 2017, para 4). In the following paragraphs I will explain why is it wise to leave New Mexico for other states and the reasons why 53,000 more people moved out of New mExico than in.

Mexico is bordered by the United States on the north, the Pacific Ocean on the west, the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea on the east, and Guatemala and Belize on the south. It is characterized by an extraordinary diversity in topography and climate and is crossed by two major mountain chains, the Sierra Madre Occidental and the Sierra Madre Oriental. The high central plateau between these two mountain ranges historically funneled most of the human population toward the center of this region. Mexico features volcanic peaks, snow-capped mountains, tropical rain forests, and internationally famous beaches. Mexico City is an enormous metropolitan area and dominates the rest of the country's culture, economy, and politics. Nearly
