She later attended college and got a degree in Criminal Justice, preparing for a real world career but continuing to perform throughout the Midwest in pursuit of her dream of becoming an actress. After one of her performances, Marlee got an opportunity to meet Henry Winkler, who would eventually become her mentor. Unashamed and not intimidated by this famous actor, Marlee approached him and told him that she wanted to be an actor as well. He encouraged her that she could be whatever she wanted to in life. All she had to do was imagine it in her heart and her dreams would come true. I am sure that the ‘Fonz’ had no idea how big of an impact his words of encouragement would have on Marlee’s life.

Rachel Botsman’s theory of collaborative consumption is made up of different systems that interact within the different social systems of social work individually and simultaneously. The idea of collaborative consumption is a way for individuals to swap, barter, rent, and purchase items from the convenience of their home or while on the go (2010). From a micro system, Botsman is referring to the individuals who are actively participating in collaborative consumption. By bringing individuals together on a micro level in order to share resources, Botsman’s theory demonstrates how people can work together. Then soon after they were pregnant with their second child, Desi Arnaz Jr. I think it is funny that their children's names are the same as Lucille and Desi’s. Then 4 years after “I love Lucy” ended. After that about 6 months later Lucille along with Desi starred in another hit television show “The Lucy-Desi comedy hour.” This also went big for Lucille. Then in 1960 The show ended. Then about 1 month after Lucille and Desi divorced. Lucille stated that Desi was becoming unfaithful to her and coming home drunk on multiple occasions. This crushed multiple people all around the world. Just about a year and a half later, Lucille and Gary Morton were married. This wasn’t as big as Desi but still a big thing. Then the next year Lucy starred in the new comedy show “The Lucy Show” The show was based on being a widow and raising her 2 kids along with her co-star Vivian Vance. Her and Vivian had starred in 2 other shows together before this one. They must have been good friends. In 1968 she starred in “Here’s lucy” This was the 2nd to last show with her name in it. She later stopped being in movies and tv shows around 1974. In 1986 she once again starred in “Life with Lucy” this was the last show with her name in the title. No one really knows too much about the show. Quite frankly it was kind of a waste of time.

In “Mean Girls” by Tina Fey, there are a few characters that stand out because of how interesting they are. One that stands out the most to me is Karen Smith. In the course of the movie, she deals with her friends bringing a new girl into the group and that girl ends up turning into the “Queen” throughout the movie. Karen has to go through with her friends getting into verbal and physical wars. The writer also reveals that Karen is not the smart one of the group. For example, she tries to catch a football with her chest and it just ends up bouncing off. She appears to be dull-minded and clueless. Karen Smith shows that throughout the story she is a static character because she never changes throughout the movie.

When writing a piece of literature the content is often influenced from the background of the person who is writing. The author, whether consciously or subconsciously, adds in personal experiences or beliefs into their pieces. Flannery O’Connor is a good example of this trend. Her short stories illustrate the hardships, beliefs, and society at the time she lived and was writing.
