Mean systemic pressure is the point where venous return (or, vascular function) curve meets the x-axis
It equals right atrial pressure when flow in the cardiovascular system is absent and is measured experimentally.
Under these circumstances, cardiac output and venous return are zero, and pressure is the same throughout the cardiovascular system.

Cardiac output curve is affected by changes in heart contractility:
Positive inotropic agents (e.g., cardiac glycosides, catecholamines): Increase heart contractility and cardiac output. The point of intersection shifts to a higher cardiac output and a lower right atrial pressure (choice A).
Negative inotropic states (e.g., uncompensated heart failure), narcotic overdose, or sympathetic inhibitors:
