Imagine you walk into your first grade classroom on a Friday and everyone is talking and the teacher gets everyone's attention in order to stop the noise so she can tell you that you have one math worksheet, one science worksheet, one literacy worksheet, and one social studies worksheet to get done by Monday. You get home and start working on your homework that way you can do fun things the rest of the weekend and you end up staying up till 10 and yet still haven’t completed all your work, but at this point it is too late to continue so as you are trying to fall asleep you keep thinking about not getting it all finished by Monday, and how you have to work on it all weekend, and when Monday rolls around again you are too mentally and physically
The end of FY-15 is fast approaching and we have to validate all NMCI users, devices, services, and software for your PSDs. The normal validation process is users>devices>services>software. I know that without an ACTR on site this can be difficult, but I have a method that I have used successfully at other remote sites without an ACTR on site. I will try to validate as much as possible without inundating everyone with spreadsheets and data calls. I have created two spreadsheets for each PSD, one is for users and the other is for devices, but before I send them out - I would like to do a desktop audit of users to speed up the validation.
Remias, his mother Charmeen and Audrey Leonard the REACH Child Coordinator met at the Woodman Office for the DD Waiver Intake. We were joined by Tanya Lewis the DD Support Coordinator. She introduced herself to everyone.

I helped the Infection Prevention Department in recording the device day counts for inpatients in different units. This is an ongoing project and require knowledge of Excel Spreadsheet. I was able to learn the device-associated infections and their impact on the patients and the organization. The reports are auto-generated by the EHR (Electronic Health Record) System. I am responsible for entering the Foley counts and catheter counts for eight clinical units within the hospital. The records are kept in the Infection Prevention Device Day Count Spreadsheet for the Infection Perfectionists to further analyzed the data and initiate appropriate communication with the clinicians regarding the risks of device-associated infections.

I have moments when I procrastinate, get stressed out, and the biggest one, when I’m genuinely tired. After a seven hour school day, and then a two hour practice, the last thing I want to do is sit down and do some homework. But as I’ve grown and got older,
2) The three characters in the mind are the Rational Decision-Maker, The Instant Gratification Monkey and the Panic Monster. The Rational Decision Maker is the part in both the brain of an average person who doesn’t procrastinate and the brain of a person that does procrastinate. This part of the brain makes all the primary decisions that usually makes decisions that make sense the brain itself at the time, such as doing a 500 word essay that is due in a week. While this is happening the part of the brain, the Instant Gratification Monkey doesn’t like that system and thinks doing something productive is a waste of time. Then the Instant Gratification Monkey always wants to try to override the mind and do something fun and easy, like playing
Every morning I wake up searching my bed for my phone. Flipping sheets and pillows until my phone appears. I lay back in bed and check my Facebook, Snapchat and Reddit. Telling myself that i'll get out of bed in fifteen minutes but I get absorbed into my phone and that fifteens minutes turn into thirty minutes. I start to do the rest of chemistry homework but in five minutes I lose my concentration and I reach for my phone without thinking. I end up doing my homework last minute before class. I always tell myself that I got to do my homework right after school. But that never happens because the same thing that always happens in the morning, Its a endless cycle. While I was typing up this essay, I thought of batman and went to Netflix and watched Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. Five hours wasted that i could've used for homework. Some people self diagnose themselves with ADHD and blame their attention span and willingness to learn on ADHD. I blame it on the internet and ourselves.
Technology was a necessary element in almost every major project I did in high school. Whether it is in researching for an essay, or making a powerpoint presentation on certain topics, technology was the greatest source of information. Therefore, the two artifacts that I will be discussing in this paper are an excel spreadsheet and a formal letter template.
More and more students are piling on mountains of stresses and strains on their bodies but more so on their minds by choosing to procrastinate. According to Dr. Ferrari associate professor of psychology at De Paul University in Chicago, he suggests that the “stress or anxiety we feel over long periods of time can lead to more serious situations such as depression and other forms of mental illnesses... that will make our lives much harder to cope with.” The true ramifications of delaying or stalling assignments is putting one's mental health on the line. Students may gain anxiety, and or depression problems because of the exceeding amount of stress and pressure they put themselves under when students defer tasks. Another effect of procrastination is building up unnecessary amounts of stress.
Soon, I discovered a method to avoid the potential of feeling insubstantial, if only for a few more hours or days. Thus, allow me to introduce you to an old friend, procrastination. My way of thinking soon became, “If I’m not going to get an A, then why even put the effort in?” and consequently, innumerable assignments were put off until five in the morning where it would be due in two hours or it would never reach my teacher’s hands at all. I’m sure most teachers believed the cause to be laziness or a lack of ambition, however I strongly believe that if they’d known the constant stress, self-doubt, and exhaustion that I
Attention Getter: So I’m pretty sure everyone here has had an important assignment to complete before like a project or essay. And most of us usually plan it out where we do a portion of it every day. For example, something like this chart here. But then the next thing you know, the deadline is fast approaching and you still haven’t come close to completing your assignment. And we end up somewhere like this. Well, I believe that we can all relate to this and we have all done this to ourselves before. I’m talking about procrastination.
Stress and anxiety in students is mainly caused by homework (Galloway 3). Excessive Homework can cause a variety of health problems and “Studies that have explored the relation between homework and well-being indicate that number of hours of homework is negatively associated with psychological well-being, physical health symptoms, and sleep.” and these health issues can be very detrimental to students (Galloway 4). According to Galloway a “study of 1,457 students…found that academic demands [were the main reason] students gave for their sleep-deprivation.” and a lack of sleep can be detrimental to learning and engagement in school. A study of Australian high school students showed that doing more homework led to “more mood disturbance (…and fatigue) (Galloway 4). More time spent doing homework, the
Thinking of all my undone homework and upcoming deadlines overwhelms me and makes me want to cry. Homework never comes to my mind at the barn. One time after a bareback ride, I was lying on top of a horse and I made myself think about all the homework I still had. Even when I tried, being at the barn with the horses and the people made it impossible for me to become overwhelmed.
