Before this project then went to the museum history were they found a Martin Luther king exhibition, his bedroom, and personal of items of his. They also saw his house. Miles checks out the room that was closed off. Then the Museum curator known as Mrs. Peck . She let them look around for a bit with Mile;s friend. She wished them a nice trip. The boys found Martin’s glove on the night table of the room and literally went back in time. They entered the past of Martin Luther King. They met him for the first time. They saw him a second time in another year. He did not recognize the kids. He spent the past summer in Connecticut making money for college. He’s going back to Atlanta and the train was segregated where colored and white people could not eat together. Martin invites them to his home for dinner. They all eat together at the table. Martin was always doing good things to other people. Then the kids find the watch d go on travel again. They are bigger and they enter Montgomery, Alabama . I consider myself as a personwho can get violent in situations where I or my family are in danger. It was very hard for me to keep myself calm and collected through our civil right movement. But Dr.King helped me and many others discover just how powerful peace was. We wouldn't be where we are today without Matin Luther King jr. Before the bus ride to Alabama we had talked to Martin asking for his permission and participation. He could really make a difference on this trip. What am I gonna say? I'm so… “Hello Dr.King. I would like to ask you for permission to the trip through Alabama. But also I would appreciate if you would ever so kindly join us on this one.” He couldn't though he was very busy in this city. However he did recommend we go through with the trip.
