Marley Stonebender should have known a creature with that many teeth would have a taste for meat. And that, in most circumstances, proved fine in the wide scheme of things. But the gapping grin revealing those teeth was anything but friendly and Marley felt quite partial to the meat attached to his old bones. From the creature's back a pair of tattered membranous wings unfurled, and Marley dodged to his left as it feinted forward, testing his reflexes. The runemaster swung his staff with the accuracy of one more use to wielding a hammer than a long stick. The tip of the wood whistle harmlessly passed its head and the creature snarled, foul green mucus dripping from its many-fanged maw. He considered casting a rune. But before he could …show more content…
"Let's head back to the road. A cold ale and a warm hearth await us in Northpoint," he said using his staff to leverage himself up the slope. "Mayhap, we will find some clues amongst the town folk." He topped the rise to find Drogan already seated on his black Theracan stallion, Zed. The pair of ponies pulling the harpers' small wagon, contentedly nibbled on the neberil dried scruff and tender new shoots of grass. The runemaster turned to Jayf as he mounted the buckboard of the wagon. "Will you ride into town with me or take the Dragon Paths and meet us later?" "I will never get use to the way the dragonkin... do what they do and while I am at it, I will never understand where he goes when he disappears." Drogan said as he pulled his horse around to walk next to the wagon. "Next time Jayf offers to take you upon the Paths, you should do it. Although it can be unsettling, you will emerge with an expanded view of our world." Marley tried to keep his own aversion to the Paths out of his

Logan flicked on his flashlight and pointed it to the ground, “ It looks like there are footprints going towards the tunnel”.
"No path, for the spirits will guide us there." The mysterious answer did nothing to ease his mind and a half turn to a shrugging Neirin revealed they were both left in the dark. Gwaine could only shake his head in dismay at the way their flight to freedom became muddier with each step.
The stranger jumped back on his horse and simply nodded to the dumbstruck Link. “Be sure not to travel by yourself again. Hyrule is no longer safe and monsters are growing
“Then we shall do this, and do it fast. I shall ride out tomorrow and see what I can find.”
“Ok John, I might need your help to get to where the Dragon is because I don’t know much about it, I’m on a blind mission.” Marcus said.

I thought I might like a more emotional book because I could stay more engaged. I also thought I might be interested in this book because it is about dogs and I love dogs.
He nodded to Gandalf, who was to be seen outside waiting for him. The wizard waited a moment before speaking, as if weighing his words carefully.
“Hop on, Lucy, you’ll need a ride sooner or later.” Twinkle, Alistair’s horse, races swiftly away from the forest and onto the castle property.
“I have heard of his death.” Lord Donovan stopped and turned back. “ We didn’t think any survived the attack by the low land elves.”
“Langly,” Erland spoke as the goblins approached their perch in the bushed. “Use the bolts on the one with the spear, they fall in behind us, use your sling to keep them from recovering.”
"Hey, Toriel, I just remembered," Gon drew out. "You never told us anything about the Ruins." Gon raised his arm, his finger pointing at the hollowed out exit past the black tree. "There's more out there past this, right?"
“You mean the one set up at the old fort?” Lydia asked. “Well I suppose that makes sense; they are on the roadside. Anytime they need supplies they could just wait for a traveler.”
“Let’s get going. There is a short hike before we get to the base of the mountain.”
Getting thrown into prison at the age of sixteen, getting treated poorly, and not having a trial must be devastating. False imprisonment is more common than we think it is.
