1. Executive Summary
• The present project was developed under the Business & Management course and its main goal is to create a marketing plan for a fictitious company: Al Raisi Oil Exploration Company (AROEC).
• Al Raisi Oil Exploration Company (AROEC) is a new private oil company solely operating in United Arab Emirates (UAE), Abu Dhabi. Its business is concerned only with Hydrocarbon exploration. Hydrocarbon exploration is the search by petroleum geologists and geophysicists for hydrocarbon deposits beneath the Earth's surface, such as oil and natural gas. AROEC’s mission is to provide to our customer opportunities to grow, and its vision is to become the market leader in providing innovative solutions and new technology for Oil and Gas industry in UAE.
• Operating in the UAE, AROEC needs to be aware of the recent requirements set by the government according to the new plan for oil production presented in 2013. Specifically, the UAE government has set a new plan to increase oil production until 2017 [11] and this compels AROEC to be prepared to fulfill this challenge through having cutting edge technology that makes their services more efficient. As a new company in the UAE market, AROEC is looking for attract customers. Since AROEC is placed in UAE, the only possible customer is Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC).
• In order to attract ADNOC attention, AROEC needs to analyze its only competitor: The Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Oil Operations (ADCO). ADCO is a
