A role model is a person whose behavior, example, or success is or can be emulated by others, especially younger people. Professional athletes
A child is a good role model of innocence and purity. A dog is a good role model of loyalty. A role model can be just about anyone that influences how another person behaves, reacts, or thinks, in a positive way. A courteous man, a complete stranger to another, holds open a door for a frail old woman. One may consider said man to be a good role model, simply due to his chivalrous deed. This proves that a person does not need much more than good intentions and some initiative in order to be a good role model. Therefore, being a good role model does not require as much of the skill as required to be a good leader.
The best way to serve as a role model at workplace is to either have a clear, defined and organised work method and interact successfully with colleagues at all levels. For example a good role model will always organise his work by setting goals, managing time effectively and sharing his personal experience with others, he will also encourage them.
True role models are those who possess the qualities that we would want to have in the near future and those who interest us in a way that make us want to be a better person. They teach us more about ourselves and encourage us to make better choices. A role model is not just someone who is successful, but someone who has had similar experiences that we have had. In the novel To Kill A Mockingbird, Harper Lee demonstrates that Atticus Finch is a true role model. Over the course of the novel, Atticus stands up for his beliefs, respects everyone despite who they are and behaves as a true father. Atticus is truly the ideal role model.
Secondly, my role model is also Rock Lee. I chose Rock Lee again because for myself he fits into to two of the three categories. I have learned to keep going even if I fall down, failure happens when I give up and never back down. “A hero is not the one that never falls, he is the one that gets up, again and again, never losing sight of his dreams.” - Rock Lee. This quote is a great example of my hero’s perseverance. I can look at him as a role model for many reasons great attitude, always seeing the positive outcome in a negative and never accepting failure. I know my younger self would get frustrated then

A role model is somebody who people look up to due to their extraordinary work, experiences or personality. Every individual have at least one person they look up to and have the motivation to follow on their footsteps. Andrew Carnegie, a classic individual who can define the phrase “Rags to Riches”. In some perspective, he can be seen as heroic and kind, however, there are those who see him as a selfish individual. Andrew Carnegie was both a hero and a villain, considering he was a philanthropist, he knows what it was like to be poor and the way he treats his employees.
A role model is an irreplaceable person who often has a following of people who attempt to emulate their actions and reactions. They often are in places of authority or, rather, noble in the eyes of their attendants. Role models yield a lot of value in many societies proven through literature in “The Color of Water” by James McBride, observations of mentors both in history and the present, and my personal experience with leaders who I appreciate.
From the beginning of time, science has been an essential part of the creation and progression of civilization. Although many scientists and their work are well known, such as that of Isaac Newton, female scientists are pushed into the shadows and discredited. Scientists such as Rachel Carson and Professor Wangari Maathai are often forgotten, but have done incredible work that was essential to the survival of the planet. Despite focusing their efforts in completely different regions of the world, both women had a major impact and had many similarities between them.
In 1980, Donald Super introduced a theory that described career development in terms of life stages and life roles. Super was one of the first theorists to discuss the constantly evolving nature of career development, and the importance of finding a balance between career and personal life. Super’s developmental model emphasized how personal experiences interact with occupational preferences in creating one’s self-concept. Super discussed how each of us progress through various life and career development stages, including growth, exploration, establishment, maintenance, and disengagement. He also discussed that each of us take on different roles as we go through life, such as a child, student, leisurite, citizen, worker, parent, and spouse. Each of these roles has an impact on our personal and professional development, and on our work/life balance. Finally, his “archway” of career determinants detailed how both personality characteristics (intelligence, needs, values) and societal characteristics (labor market, school, family) influence our career choices and have a major impact on our career development.
Most people would say that in order to be considered a good role model, you first need to be considered a good person. A good person is typically a person who has empathy for others, tries their best to make good decisions, and follows the law. After reading this description, of what a good person is, celebrities would not typically be the first group of people that would pop into your head because of their bad reputations, but that doesn't mean that all public figures are known for their bad choices. Celebrities should be famous for their talents and skills in some sort of field, or they could just have a great life story and have done great things in their life which inspired people to do the same. After all, everyday people run red lights all the time and no one would ever know, but the moment a celebrity gets one traffic ticket, it will be instantly posted all over every single magazine and news station. Public figures should be considered role models because, many public figures can serve as inspiration to do great things and a great example of what can happen if you make bad decisions.
Role models have an astounding effect on the lives of young people in our society. A role model has the ability to shape the views, ideals, and actions of a young person. Role models help youth to discover how they wish to become in the future. The influence that role models have over young people is tremendous. It is important for role models to be positive and responsible in instilling good morals and values because future generations are directly dependent on the role models of today. By examining the influence of role models, role models in the community, and role models in the media, we will be able to determine the true effect that role models have on the lives of youth.
A role model is a person who inspires and encourages us to strive for greatness, live to our fullest potential, and see the best in ourselves. A role model is someone we admire and someone we inspire to be like. Most kids of today pick their role models from who they see on TV. Role models are a large part of everyone’s lives. Every person is looking for something different when searching for the best role model for them. But who makes a good model? The celebrities that kids are looking up to are adults that partake in adult and illegal behavior such as partying, drinking, and drugs that lead into violence. Would you consider that a good role model material? Celebrities should not be looked up to as role models.
