I chose a kitten, because kittens are mostly cute, cuddly and affectionate. They are one of the things that make your day a lot better, with their smiles, playing, and cuddles.Loving, might be one of Clary’s strongest trait, as it is mostly the best thing about her. In the book, the most noticeable love towards someone, is her love for her mother “I love you, Clary” The phone went dead “Mom!” (pg 45), the thing that drove her into worry and sadness, after the unfortunate incident of her mother being kidnapped. Clary’s friends, the ones she has known forever, are also the people she loves “I only loved three, people in my life” she said “My mom and Luke, and you” (pg 303) (‘You’, as in Simon, her best friend and ‘Luke’ as in her mother's friend and her ‘second’ dad). Finally, someone whose love towards him progressed throughout the book, is her love for Jace. They first formally met, when he saved her life in her house after a demon attacked her, so he took her to “The Institute” (Shadowhunter HQ). They show fondness towards each other throughout the book, “... she was somehow in the circle of his arms, and he was kissing her.” (pg 315), “How swiftly you dismiss our love” “Jace…” (pg 318). Peter Jackson’s 2009 film, The Lovely Bones, is based off of the New York Times bestseller novel written by Alice Sebold. Both the book and the movie adaptation tell the story of a young, 14-year-old girl named Susie Salmon who is brutally murdered by her neighbor. In both versions, Susie narrates her story from the place between Heaven and Earth, the “in-between,” showing the lives of her family and friends and how each of their lives have changed since her murder. However, the film adaptation and the original novel differ in the sense of the main character focalization throughout, the graphic explanatory to visual extent, and the relationship between the mother and father.

In the town of Burma, where militarism, violence and racial differences took place, two people from different ethnicities found a way to love even through the hardships of social acceptance and language barriers. This couple was symbolic to the Burman society through the aspects of social interactions and political revolution. The novel Miss Burma has a much deeper meaning to it than just the human life story. This isn’t just another “forbidden romance” novel like Romeo and Juliet, Charmaine’s reasoning and meaning behind her words provide that extra boost to grabbing the reader’s attention.
A mandala , originally seen it tibet , is a circular picture that is created to show something of meaning to a person or a group of people. The mandala is also used to show religious beliefs, which was its original purpose in the fourth century. The mandalas circular shape can also have meaning as well as the content, or symbols, that are inside of it. The circular shape can symbolize the circle of life or even the lack of a beginning or end that the circle has, but everyone has a different meaning to the circular shape and its meaning depends on the creater. The mandalas center picture is very important to the creator because it shows the most important thing to them in life, while the perimeter of the mandala circle is symbols that represent
“I have found the paradox, that if you love until it hurts, there can be no more hurt, only more love.” This quote from Mother Teresa shows how love is a powerful emotion. Love is what causes people to make drastic changes in their life. Themes about can be found in many different books, but in Cassandra Clare’s novel, City of Bones, one theme may be important throughout the novel. Clary Fray is seemingly a ordinary teenager. This is Clary’s first time meeting the Shadowhunters, warriors dedicated to ridding the earth of demons. Throughout

Buddhism is a belief that emphasizes on detachment and impermanence. Throughout the movie, the monks create a beautiful sand mandala using many different colored sand particles. Drug addiction is something societies all over the world rarely tolerate. Although almost every culture has a tradition of consuming narcotic substances—alcohol, in the first turn—not all of them are seen as acceptable. A person saying, “A glass of beer after a long working day is my small weakness, you know” looks normal; but an almost similar phrase, “A shot of heroin after a long working day is my small weakness, you know” will sound suspicious, to say the least, will it not?
