A substance called unguent was applied to the skin as a moisturizer to protect it from the elements and discourage wrinkles. Sometimes the unguent was scented. During the Elizabethan Era, these types of clothes were rarely made for comfort. Clothes during this time seem odd, mainly because of the differences, such as the materials used for clothing, how the clothes may look or feel different from today, and status influencing type of clothing. First, to clear confusion, Romeo and Juliet takes place in Italy, but since Shakespeare lived in England, he would have followed the English clothing.

The English people chose to establish social classes by the colors they wore and this had an affect on costumes used in theatre. Queen Elizabeth I followed the sumptuary laws, which was only certain classes were consent to wear specific fabric and colors. Therefore in plays the actors could only wear certain colors for their costumes that displayed what role and class their character was in. Having hope enables a person to heal from a situation because it provides the focus that is necessary when it comes to issues that ensure the achievement of goals. Different situations to solve only require them to have priorities and set the right goals. As a result, this calls for hope in order to stay focused on achieving the goals. Accordingly Makeup can be used for many things. The ancient Egyptians used makeup made from oils and cream to help clean and protect their faces from the hot mild wind. Today we are using makeup for a totally different reason. Makeup isn’t to cover up what's underneath, but it can be a work of art. Why is that people used as background props are very important to a story or movie if they never even have a line? Maybe it’s because they make the setting seem more realistic and that is exactly what the creators want people to feel. Even less important characters in an act , their presence adds on to the real protagonists and makes them shine. Together and apart Cecily and Algernon cause Gwendolen and Jack to flourish as a couple because of their actions, their words and their social status.
Goals and hope exist because bad things happen to us, in the moment the bad things that happen to us doesn't seem like they will ever get better but if you think about it deep down there is always a little sliver of hope.
