Major Modern Day Issues In The United States

Throughout history there has always been issues among the government and everyday issues of the people of the United States, but nowadays we have many problems among us that we can’t quite make decisions on like many of past problems. Things that we can’t decide if it’s constitutional or not. So throughout this paper were going to decide what is constitutional and what isn’t about major modern day issues such as: school attendance when under the age of 16 and the laws requiring the every American citizen to have health care. Two major problems that us American’s just can’t quite find a happy medium to.

It has not worked in all states, something we have to keep in mind when passing laws such as this. In different states, comes differences in culture also. We might find that one culture values work ethic much more than an education. Or perhaps lower income families cannot afford the financial burdens of schooling their children. It might not seem like a lot to some of us but those are and could be major factors in some states. These are risks, but the question is whether we are willing to take them to make a difference in our rates. From what I have read on the constitution and age limits on drop out there is nothing between these two things that intertwine that say we cannot lower or raise the age of minimal dropout ages? As I said before though this can either make or break the entire reasoning for the laws existence, the graduation rates could either raise or decline. Those are the risks that we would and still will have to take for those states that have decided to raise the age to
