On Thursday, June 23rd, 2016 at approximately 2315 hrs while driving a Midland Police vehicle and wearing a standard issued MPD uniform Officer Jimenez was dispatched to 4201 Harlowe Dr. in reference to a Burglary of a Habitation. MPD Dispatch advised Officer Jimenez that complainant wanted to report that someone broke into his house and took several electronic items without his effective consent. Upon arrival, Officer Jimenez made contact with the victim identified as Alfredo Rosas(H/M-DOB11/16/1969). Rosas advised Officer Jimenez that someone broke through his bedroom window without his consent and took several electronic items. Rosas also advised that someone took some jewelry items and some cash. Officer Jimenez asked Rosas the details of the incident. Rosas told Officer Jimenez that he left his house at approximately 1600 hrs. Rosas stated that he returned to his residence at approximately 2300 hrs. Rosas advised Officer Jimenez that he then noticed a CPU on the couch in the hallway of his residence. Rosas thought it was odd but he thought it could it have been his son’s CPU. MOS Michael Izzo observed two individuals engage in a hand to hand drug transaction inside the lobby of the building and radioed the description of the individuals. Hyder told Officers that She was visiting Mcmaryion from Dallas. Hyder stated that she allowed Mcmaryion to borrow the keys to her gray Ford Focus(TXLP-FXR9812) so Mcmaryion could get a phone charger. Hyder told Officers that she then went to her vehicle and noticed that some of her clothing she had in the back seat had been moved. Hyder said that a coffe maker located in her back seat was also moved along with other personal items. Hyder stated that she then got concerned and checked her trunk. Hyder told Officers that after checking the trunk of her vehicle, she noticed that her dark pink Victoria Secret purse had $1700 dollars cash missed from it. Hyder told Officers that was her income tax return. Hyder stated that she went inside the residence and confronted Mcmaryion about the money that went missing. Hyder told Officer Jimenez that after she confronted Mcmaryion, he started acting belligerant. Hyder told Officers that Mcmaryion made several aggressive statements stating that he wanted Hyder to leave otherwise he was going to kill her. Hyder then told Officers that she went to the residence located at the 503 South Clay. Hyder told Officers that after about an hour, Mcmaryion’s girlfriend tried to talk to him. Once again Hyder said that she heard Mcmaryion acting belligerant towards his girlfriend. Hyder said that Mcmaryion told his girlfriend he was going to kill her if she did not leave.
Upon arrival, I met with Lake Ridge Student Quarzaza, Imani B/F, dob 04/22/1998 and her dad Quarzaz Mongo who said that someone hit her vehicle while it was parked in the school parking lot in front of the Pac. Quarzaza said that she parked her vehicle at approximate 6:74 a.m. in the parking lot near the Pac before the start of school. Quarzaza said that when she went to her car at approximately 3:09 p.m. after school, she noticed that she had damage on the back right side fender. Quarzaza said that an unknown w/f driving a black truck drove by and told her that she had seen a red pick-up truck hit her car. Quarzaza said that the unknown suspect left a white piece of paper on her windshield with nothing written on it.
Upon arrival, Officer Jimenez made contact with Gerald Hendricks (W/M-DOB11/19/1981). Hendricks was standing outside the residence. Upon contact, Officer Jimenez could smell a strong odor of alcoholic coming from Hendricks breath. Hendricks told Officer Jimenez that he got into a physical altercation with his wife Amber Anderson (W/F-DOB02/12/1982). Hendricks stated that his wife was inside the residence. On 12-05-17 at approximately 1017 hours, I responded to 442 N. Los Robles Avenue regarding a psychological evaluation. PPD Dispatch advised that a female, White was yelling incoherently at the above location. Officer Gawlik #3116, Officer Herrera #3595 and Officer Killgore #7231 were on scene prior to my arrival.
Upon our arrival, a Hispanic male later identified as Juan Navarro opened the front door but not the security screen door of the home. I advised Navarro that I was the North Las Vegas Police Officer and was at his home because of the 911 disconnect. I asked Navarro if anyone else lived in the home to which he responded his three kids and the mother(Miriam Garcia) of his children lived there as well. I asked Navarro if we could speak to them to ensure that they were all in good health. At this point, Garcia came to the door and Navarro told me he would not open the door at that they were all "ok". Garcia then opened the screen door and when she did I noticed Navarro had two fresh diagonal scratches on his neck as well as two small cuts on his neck.
Upon arrival, I Officer Alfaro contacted the complainant, later identified as Jeremy Brad Favies, DOB: 10/30/1976, TXDL# 15871089. Mr. Favies stated that he was the manager in charge of Albertson’s grocery store and that one of his employees, later identified as Loretta Lynn Hebert, DOB: 11/28/1970, TXDL# 02206940, had been showing other employees a handgun located in her purse. On 08/07/15 at approximately 1820 hours, my partner (Ofcr. Vanlenzuela No.38161) and I (Ofcr. Nunez No.36181) were working North Hollywood patrol, assigned to unit 15A84 W5. At that time, we responded 10849 Fruitland Dr for an “Attempt 211 Suspect.” Comments of the call indicated the P/R was the wife of the victim Melvin Salinas. Suspect was described as a male black “transient” armed with a knife tried to take a vehicle from the parking garage Inc# 150807003722.
K-9 officer told Mr. Solomon to stop and he continues to run. Mr. Solomon heard the officer say he was going to release the dog and Mr. Solomon gave up. Mr. Solomon was then taken into police custody. When the victim came home, Detective Gibbs went into the home and found a black backpack at the top of the stairs. The victims stated that the backpack was not theirs. Detective Gibbs opened the backpack and the victim’s stolen laptop was inside and Daniel Solomon’s homework was also inside. Mr. Solomon and Mr. Powell were brought to 311 County Street and they both confessed to breaking the window and going inside of the home. They both blamed each other for taking items.”
On 02-23-18 at approximately 1700 hours, I was traveling north on Raymond Avenue approaching Bellevue Drive. I saw a male Hispanic, later identified as Suspect Ramon Richard Arvizu riding a bicycle west on Bellevue Drive at Edmondson Alley. I immediately recognized Arvizu from prior police contacts in the field.
Upon arrival, I made contact with the victim, who was identified as Manzo Silva, Alicia DOB 10/10/84. Alicia related that she spoke little English and felt more comfortable speaking Spanish. Ofc. Calderon #291 was dispatched to the scene to assist with translation. Alicia related that she has been dating Jorge for approximately one (1) year. Alicia related that Jorge has physical abused her in past on at least four (4) occasions. Alicia was unable to provide exact dates of the incidents. Alicia related on 12/03/17, she had a verbal altercation with Jorge because he thought she was cheating on him. Alicia related that Jorge damaged her cell phone (Galaxy 8) during the verbal altercation. Alicia further related that he struck her with closed fist on the left side of her head, left, and right thigh. I took three (3) photos of Alicia, which were later placed into inventory. I observed redness on the left side of her face. Alicia related that Jorge left her residence in his vehicle.
On 03/25/17 at approximately 1148 hrs, I heard OFC Christensen advise that he was enroute to Fuego for a possible robbery that had just occurred. OFC Christensen’s primary assignment is a Auburn Police Department Mall Officer, for the Outlet Collection Mall. The Mall is located is at 1101 Outlet Collection Way, which is located in the City of Auburn, County of King, and State of Washington. A few minutes later, OFC Christensen advised that the suspects were two young Hispanic Females and possibly a male. He also advised that the suspects were still inside the mall and that Mall Security and he were trying to locate them. Several Officers began responding the mall to assist OFC Christensen.
Upon our arrival, we were met by a Hispanic female adult identified as by her Nevada drivers license as Maria Ochoa. Ochoa stated that she and her sixteen-year-old daughter (Jasmine Henriquez) had been in a been in a verbal argument that turned physical. Ocha stated that argument started over Henriquez wanting to go to a party and Ocha told her no. Ochoa stated that when she told Henriquez she could not go, she became angry and said: "even if you tell me no I'm still going". Ochoa went on to say that she caught Henriquez trying to sneak out of the house at about 2230 hours. Ochoa stated that she confronted Henriquez and attempted to prevent Henriquez from leaving by pulling her shirt. At this point, Ochoa stated that is when Henriquez grabbed her right wrist with her left hand and began to punch Ochoa in her right arm with her right closed fist. Ochoa stated her youngest son Jonathan Ochoa (12/13/006) was present at the time of the incident. Ochoa stated that Henriquez took off in an unknown vehicle and left in an unknown direction. Ochoa had a Nevada plate of 371-08B, However that plate did not give a return.
On Saturday 06/11/2016 around 2325 hours, Security Officer Omar Alonso, was patrolling the Emergency Department when he was stopped by Nurse Franceska Plaza in F-POD. She stated that the patient in E.D. room #58 was claiming that his apartment key was missing. SO Alonso spoke to the patient but he was not very coherent so Alonso spoke to Nurse Plaza and she stated that he might have lost the key in his first assigned room, which was pod E, room #49, or when he was in CAT scan. The Officer checked at both locations but was not able to find a single brown color apartment key on a black key chain which was the only description he could get from the patient, Nathaniel T.
