Martin Luther King was a honourable leader during his time he was famous for his speech “ I had a dream’ In this speech he calls for an end to racism in the United States and preaches his vision of a society in which race was not an issue in how people were treated or in how they were allowed to live their lives. Because of this speech the Negros respected him. He said this speech in front of millions who came to listen and for that he is a very brave man.

Martin Luther King, Jr., was a very strong person, constantly fighting for what he believed in, which was equality for African Americans. He was not scared to stand up and tell the world what he wanted for society. He was fearless and did everything in his power to prove a point. Martin Luther King, Jr., was the strongest individual of his time, for he fought until death, which proves how much he was willing to risk his life to make the world an equal place.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a caring and passionate leader and symbol for change, provided inspiration to encourage the integration of the American society, with the inequality for the colored people. To fully appreciate MLK’s legacy, one has to understand his importance during the American Civil Rights Movement. The American Civil War was growing, which could have very likely led to the fall of the strongest nation in the world.

MLK was an important activist during the civil rights movement. He is most known for his non violent protest and his speeches. Most people don't really know that he had much about his speeches they usually only know one of them but he actually delivered 450 speeches a year.

Martin Luther King Jr. was one of many great civil rights activists that have fought for equal rights. Throughout the 1960’s he persevered through many things such as, “On March 7, 1965, a civil rights march, planned from Selma to Alabama's capitol in Montgomery, turned violent as police with nightsticks and tear gas met the demonstrators as they tried to cross the Edmund Pettus Bridge. King was not in the march, however the attack was televised showing horrifying images of marchers being bloodied and severely injured. Seventeen demonstrators were hospitalized leading to the naming the event "Bloody Sunday." Everyone, young or old, gay or straight, women or man, everyone should get equal rights and this man shows why and how we can do it.

Martin Luther King, Jr was a monumental and an extraordinary figure in America's history. His vigorous efforts and tremendous will to lead changed the course of this nation. His efforts resulted in change, reform and fulfillment of constitutional rights to the minorities of the United States.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, was a great man, he did a lot to improve America. He stopped racism, and brought the country to be nice and kind to other races. On the day of the speech he stood in front of the Lincoln Memorial, and gave one of the world's greatest speeches. His speech “I Had a Dream” was said on the beginning of the civil rights movement.

January 15, 1929, in Atlanta, Georgia, a boy by the name of Michael King Jr. was born. He would soon become the civil rights activist we have all come to know, Martin Luther King Jr. MLK faced oppression during his youth and throughout his life. Many people see him as this strong civil rights activist who stood up for what he believed was right, however, what many people aren’t taught is what he had to deal with in order to get there.

Martin Luther King Jnr was a strong leader and activist in the Civil Rights Movement in America. He was also an American pastor, humanitarian and leader of the African/ American civil rights movement. Martin Luther King led non- violent protests to fight for the rights of all people including African /Americans in the 1950s and 1960s. His dream was that America and the world would become a nonracist society where someone’s race would not impact on their civil rights and way of life. He was one of the great speakers of modern times and his speeches still inspire and impact many people all around the world to this day.

Martin Luther King Jr, was a significant Southern gentleman which stood for freedom, during a time that was desperately needing a change. His conviction of how all should experience the benefits of freedom lives on today. He was a forerunner of the Civil Rights Movement; leading African Americans, and many hundreds to a world of hope. He stood against racial discriminations, anger, sexual category, and mistreatment. He had a dream for all men to live a life of non-violent, equality, integrity, and freedom. Martin Luther King Jr. was a Civil Rights Activist Minister for the African American. He was born on January 15, 1929 in Atlanta Georgia. King received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1964 along with different awards. Martin was the middle child of Michael King Sr. and Alberta Williams. He grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and entered a public school at the age of 5. In May 1936 he was baptized, but at the time he didn’t really believe in that religious stuff. 1941 in the month of May Martin’s grandmother Jennie had died while watching a parade against his parents’ wishes when she had the heart attack. Once Martin had gotten the news, when he got home he attempted suicide by jumping out of their two story family house. He attended Booker T. Washington High school, which he skipped both the 9th and 11th grade due to being so ahead in learning. At

MLK was a selfless person because he cared about segregation and he knew there would be problems doing campaigns and standing up for what he believed in because of the color of his skin, he wanted everyone to be equal. “We must learn to be live together as brothers or perish together as fools.” King wanted to bring everyone together and not be separated by skin color. Being separated isn’t helping anybody and just made things worse and more complicated. Protesting MLK was non-violent, he made it clear while he was ion Birmingham jail because being destructive and cruel would not make matters better. Even while being help in prison he was still thinking about saving the people that believed in him.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was a vital figure of the modern era. His lectures and dialogues stirred the concern and sparked the conscience of a generation. The movements and marches he led brought significant changes in the fabric of American life through his courage and selfless devotion. This devotion gave direction to thirteen years of civil rights activities. His

Martin Luther King Jr. was an impactful man in my grandmother’s opinion. When he was assassinated, she felt sorrow and hurt in her heart. She admired him for what he did and what he stood for. He was a great warrior for his people, and he was a big help to them and tried to make it to where blacks and whites could be served together.
