Our Beginning....1850. N.S.J. Strider and M.T. Strider. A century ago when carpenters and cabinet makers used to make both furniture and the casket, it was not uncommon for undertakers to be in the furniture business, and or vice versa. Today caskets and furniture are made in different plants and by different companies. Five generations of one family - the Strider family - either have been, or are now, connected with the ownership and operations of the undertaking business. The story of the origin of this thriving business dates back to some 34 years after the establishment of one of the first, if not the first funeral undertaker or mortician, who was appointed for the town of Boston, Mass., by the Boston Board of Health in June 1816.

While attending Liberty Univeristy, I started out as a Business Major, but after a few accounting classes I decided to be an Accountant. Not only did I find a career path at Liberty, but I also found my life's mate. We have been married for 34 year and our proudest accomplishment in life are our three children. Nathan, recently married and lives in Wisconsin. Both are clinical pharmacists in the hospital setting. Nathan published his first article for the Pharmacy Journal which started sibling riviary. Lauren, is the Production Manager for the White House Historical Association and could't wait to tell her brother that she published two articles. We also visited the White House on several occasions. Our youngest,

He also held the record for most bases stolen in a season, at 96 stolen bases (“Cobb”).
Foner fails to provide any actual numbers regarding how many slaves were set free, or any indication how long this natural disintegration process would have taken. These few very small steps seem redundant in this grand marathon.
Devon Yoder, Born inside the hospital of Health Central on the date of november 4th 1997. First hello to his mother was a scream, as for his dad? a piss in the face; a heart felt hello from father to son.Ever since birth it he was a hellion. Its heard to say where he got his wild side, but to be honest his deviousness came from his father. As for his mother, well she gave him his wit. Enough so that he would tread on the edge of contravercy to this very moment.
Ever since my sister attended Troy University and told me about all the superior activities Troy has to offer, I have wanted to attend this college. Troy has an outstanding nursing program, and that is the career field I plan on going into prior graduation. I have always wanted to specialize in neonatal nursing with sick babies. Troy also has some awesome sororities at their school I am interested in being a part of. Alpha Gamma Delta is the sorority I am most interested in. They strive to achieve academic excellence and they help out their school as much as they can. Lastly, Troy has a very beautiful, clean, and safe campus. Feeling safe while walking around your college is a very important factor to me.
During the war, battles would continue into night but tended to be quite unproductive as you could not see where you were shooting. Tracer bullets were originally invented in 1915 as a way to create light while fighting late at night but the light trail was “erratic” and only lasted 100 meters. Finally in 1916, the .303 SPG Mark VIIG tracer bullets were invented. This version emitted a much brighter, green-white trail and was a great success during nighttime battles. One thing the British did not expect was for the trail to be flammable, this tracer bullet

In allusion to Hugh Latimer’s famous quote, the old woman says “Play the man, Master Ridley,” before she strikes a match, setting herself and her books on fire. In the mid 1500s Queen Mary of England attempted to convert the newly rising Protestant ways back to traditional Roman Catholicism. People convicted of heresy were tried and burned at the stake. However, brave and courageous Protestants continued to practice and preach their religion despite the potential consequences.

In closing, the elements of a funeral have changed considerably since Shakespearean times. The development of funeral customs over time has taken place due to the changing longevity of life, religion, wealth and status, and scientific advancements. These aspects of life had a significant impact on the preparation of dead bodies, the meaning of a funeral, and the memorials for the dead during the Renaissance. It is intriguing to imagine what the funeral customs of today would be like with statistics like those of the
