The (0-3) Los Angeles Lakers are back in downtown Los Angeles, at the Staples Center, to battle the (1-2) Denver Nuggets. The Lakers are facing the unenviable task of changing the narrative and after three straight losses, attempting to remove the stench that is emanating from their defense.
The Lakers are 21-8 against the Nuggets all-time at the Staples Center, in the regular season, 4-6 in their last 10 games. The purple and gold lost the four-game season series (1-3) to the Nuggets last season. In 62 career games, Kobe Bryant is averaging 25.2 points versus the Nuggets.
