The French Revolution had a major impact on its neighboring European countries. This was because of Frances profound changes in politics, society, religion. These changes brought an end to traditional laws and practices. The French Army was successful in conquering other countries such as Switzerland, Germany, and Belgium. The French invaded Switzerland and turned it into an ally known as the “Helvetic Republic”.
