In the midst at the lake in Scotland, appeared a monster. They called her the Loch Ness Monster (Nessie). The mystery of the Loch Ness Monster, although supposedly seen by people, is still unproven. The legend of Nessie started in the year 1933. Facts about the monster is the surgeon's photo was a hoax.
The legend of the Loch Ness monster all started on May 2, 1933. When the story of the monster first appeared in the paper. The first photo evidence of the monster was also taken in the year of 1933. Before the people found out that the footprints were fake it was known as the most greatest piece of evidence that the monster was real. William Fraser wrote a letter to the government about the Loch Ness monster. Fraser noted that a man named Peter Kent stated he was having a special harpoon gun made for the beast to kill or to capture it for the prize money. According to Radford Benjamin “Kent says he will have twenty hunters on August twenty second for hunting the beast” (2015). Fraser also added in his letter that he did not want Kent and his men to hunt the beast especially if it is the only one alive. Fraser suggested that some type of government protection plan might be established for the Loch Ness monster. British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) took took the longest and most comprehensive search for the Loch Ness monster. Their is a strong incentive to protect the Loch Ness monster and other large animals from being hunted and captured. Locals and other people from the area and around the area speak of the Loch Ness monster as a solitary animal. Solitary means done or existing alone, this is well said because their has only been one monster found and seen.
