Each year, senior students are asked to make the huge decision of what the want to do in the near approaching future. While a student is making a big choice between possible universities, there are many aspects for them to consider. Two potential universities such as Nebraska Wesleyan University and University of Nebraska at Lincoln share many similarities such as their location and organizations, but they also differ in price and size. For starters, the two universities are in Lincoln, Nebraska. Lincoln is a big city that still feels safe, so it is good for the college atmosphere. This city has a lot of events for college students to get involved in within in the school and the community. Nebraska Wesleyan University averages nineteen students in a class with a 13:1 student to faculty ratio while University of Nebraska at Lincoln averages thirty-seven students in a class with a 22:1 student to faculty ratio. University of Nebraska at Lincoln has a significantly larger overall population than Nebraska Wesleyan University. Along with the difference is populations sizes, the campuses are different in campus proximity. University of Nebraska at Lincoln includes three different campuses with a larger area than Nebraska Wesleyan University. Every year there are about “5,350 freshmen coming in to Iowa State” (“Iowa…”), Iowa only has “4,450 freshmen coming in” (“Iowa…”) making Iowa State a little bit bigger than Iowa. I would like to get a teaching degree from a university. The two universities that I really love are UNC Chapel Hill and Wake Forest University. When comparing UNC Chapel Hill to Wake Forest I find they are both similar, yet different.
