My lifetime goal is to become a Humanitarian, but my lifetime career is to become an advanced nurse with specialties in various areas (in particular, the emergency room specialty.) Becoming a Humanitarian appealed to me greatly when I realized how much my community and family played a major part in my success. Which helped me realized that aiding someone in their success, just as my community did in mines, was a task I would enjoy reciprocating to others. My goal: to pursue a career I would enjoy greatly and during that time build my wealth properly and once I have a reasonable about of wealth, I plan to give that wealth back to various communities where I know that just a little extra belief in an individual could transform their life. Furthermore,
I do not have a goal in mind. There is no deadline or additional information I can provide for my dream. I want to make a positive impact on the world. I want to have an outstanding legacy.
Everyone is awesome in their own way, and some fail to achieve their potential because of the family they were born into. My goal will not only help others, but help me in meeting new people. The fact that there are seven billion people on earth, and that every single one of them is different is mind-blowing. To go to a third world country and see how they live, and how different life is there would be such a humbling experience. By giving of myself to help them learn, explore, and succeed will be how I would do my part to change the
My short term goal is to work endlessly towards obtaining my Bachelor's degree in Nursing. I put in more efforts, more time towards achieving my dreams and pursuing my passion. I feel like it was always meant for me to help people because when I was younger, I helped people when they were sick, had cuts and bruises, and etc.…
My next career goal is to work in human services as a caseworker and/or advocate for a marginalized population such as the chronically homeless or people with severe disabilities. I haven’t quite narrowed it down and plan on doing some volunteering to help with that process. Volunteering has always been important to me. When I was first out of college and working my first full time job I didn’t make a lot of money. It bothered me that I couldn’t afford to give as much money as I wanted to my Church, so I started volunteering and doing things like food baskets around the holidays in order to give something back.
The good I spread through the world is indebted to my youth council. Each day of my future will be spent with dedication toward bettering each environment I am in. After my education, I am hoping to to assist the ill and injured population as well as bring healthy children into the world each day. This, however, is not my future goal. I strive to make at least one life
However, I am sure that no matter where I go in life, I will continue serving others. Whether I become an entrepreneur, businessman, or public servant, my dream is to one day use my success to create and fund my own nonprofit organization, allowing me to share my wealth with individuals and groups in need. Even if I am unable to start an organization of my own, I hope to contribute and give back to my community by finding a way to share what I have learned with others whether it be through my time, money, or expertise. If I had been asked what I wanted to become as an eight-year-old, I would have simply responded, “a super-rich businessman.” I now realize that while I hope to succeed in my career, my motivations for doing so have less to do with accumulating wealth and more to do with an increased ability to impact the world around
The idea of a lifetime goal is a difficult concept for me. I used to believe that my goal was to become a successful lawyer like the one’s on crime shows. But what is “successful”? And what happens when I do become a lawyer? Is it just, “Done. Lifetime made.”? No, a lifetime goal is so much more than that. It’s something that I am trying and will probably never stop trying to piece together.
Create a list of goals you want to achieve in your life or moments you want to experience. Consider all aspects of your life from the wellness wheel above. The purpose of this activity is to let go of the grips food has on your decisions and allow yourself to move freely through life with a sense of purpose (let go of the timeline and any minute details) let your imagination run wild and create intentions that you would like to move
A lifetime goal of mine is to become a coach of any kind. Being an athlete working hard and the feeling of success is great; sharing my talents with someone younger than me is something that I have always wanted to do. Help them become a champion, to be at the highest point in their game. Being a top rated athlete in the sport you play is a very good thing to have to look better for scouts or coaches. Training hard every day is a must staying focused is a major key in becoming a good athlete. Coaching kids to see they’re full potential and see they’re goals and reach them is a long time goal of mine.
My professional goal is to attend a 4 year college in the Mainland to get a Pediatric degree. I chose this as my professional goal because I have personal experience of losing a baby. That made me even more love babies and help the ones in need. This professional goal is important to me because there is some people out there in the world that does not take care of their babies after they give birth or even while they are pregnant. They do not eat healthy or they drink alcohol or, even do drugs that will hurt the baby. It is also important to me because if your baby is born unhealthy or in pain some parents will not care or do anything to help the baby. Seeing babies unhealthy or not being taken care of hits home hard for me. This goal might
As a child and even as a teenager one tends to make dreams and set goals for life. On occasion these goals are far stretched and sometimes even fairy-tale like, we tend to see life through a rose-colored glass, not taking into account the many sidetracks life throws our way. At that stage in life our goals tend to be less focused and somewhat unreachable. However, the process of growing up, or maturing, tends organized and center our goals, we learn to make compromises and set goals for our goals. There are different types of goals, short term and long term. I have learned to separate the many goals I have into three main categories: family, professional and personal.
Goal setting has always been an important factor in my life, because of that I have accomplished things that I am very proud of. Without goals it would make it very hard to succeed in life because there is nothing to work hard for. Goal setting is a constant reminder of the things that are important to you. It gives me the motivation to work hard every day so that I can achieve my goals. Goals are what keeps each of us different. Throughout my life, I hope to continue to set goals.
My personal goal as a student at the University of Phoenix is to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management within the next two years. This goal is very important to me because of the impact it will have on my family, work and personal life. In my family it will set a positive example for my daughters, grandchildren, and youngest sister. My family has been a source of support throughout my years in college as I have pursued this degree while maintaining a full time job. Obtaining the degree will be an accomplishment not only for me but also for my family who has given me the encouragement to reach my goal. I would like for my grandchildren to remember their grandmother as a strong and educated woman.
“Setting goals is the first step in turning the invisible into visible” -said Tony Robbins, author and life coach. Everyone has challenges throughout their life, but people have strengths that can lead up to effect their future. We use our goals to keep us motivated and our strengths to help us get past the challenges we face. Our weaknesses fade because our strengths become so strong and we are faced with new challenges. With each challenge we overcome we become stronger and we find more strengths in our challenges. I am a great friend because I always care for my friends and i'm their shoulder to cry on. I'm a very strong-willed person because I don't give up on something I want easily. I’m stubborn because I
My whole life I have always wanted to become a successful engineer, and graduate from the University of Cincinnati. Some of my goals in life are to go to the University of Cincinnati. Another one of my goals is to become some type of engineer. But as of right now I would like to be a aerospace engineer. To be honest I really don’t know what influenced me to want to become and engineer. But something about engineering always appealed to me for some reason. But lately my engineering teacher has had a positive impact on me and is really making me like engineering and the overall field. So I guess that Mr. Smith has influenced me into being an engineer. My plan b is to be an engineer too. But this type of engineering would just be easier to
