I was very amazed at researching about Leo Frank case .It was a case most people wouldn’t know about. Who is Leo Frank? “Leo Max Frank was an American factory superintendent who was convicted in 1913 of the murder of a 13-year-old employee, Mary Phagan, in Atlanta, Georgia.”
“Leo Frank was a jewish man born in April 17,1884 in Cuero,Texas.” Leo Frank’s family had moved to Brooklyn, New York. Leo Frank was eventually raised in Brooklyn, New York. He had majored in Mechanical Engineering and graduated at Cornell University which was located in Ithaca, NY in 1906. He was a very active student. He had played many sports during his college years. Sports he had played were things such as tennis, chess, and basketball.
“ In November 2010, Leo Frank had married Lucille Selig.” Leo Frank and Lucille Selig had met at a opera show. Leo Frank and Lucille Selig had lived in Atlanta, Georgia. There were rumours about Leo Frank and Lucille Selig having childrens but they had none. While Leo Frank and Lucille Selig were married they were living in a house with Lucille Selig’s parents.
In August 1908, Leo Frank began working in Atlanta, Georgia. The company he was working for was called National Pencil Company which was located on South Forsyth Street in downtown Atlanta. Leo Frank had worked there for many years. He eventually received a promotion to become a manager. He had worked from morning to night time.
