Lee Harvey Oswald's Assassination

On November 22, 1963 United States President John F. Kennedy was shot and killed in Dallas Texas. In September 1964 the Warren Commission, appointed by President Lyndon B. Johnson, presented an official report documenting the details of the assassination. This report concluded that Kennedy was killed by a man named Lee Harvey Oswald, and that Oswald acted alone. Ever since then there has been speculation concerning the validity of the Warren Commission. For over fifty years conspiracy theorists have been uncovering the “truth” behind Kennedy’s assassination. These theories, however, are largely unfounded, and supported by no hard evidence. In contrast, the meticulously detailed Warren Report, available in the National Archives, provides countless pieces of closely analyzed evidence, all corroborating the same, controversial claim. Regardless of popular American disbelief, the fact remains that Lee Harvey Oswald is alone responsible for the assassination of John F. Kennedy, as described by the Warren Commission.

In the hours after the assassination Oswald murdered a police officer by the name of J.D. Tippit (“The JFK Assassination” 1.). Soon after Oswald was arrested, and whilst in interrogation Oswald claimed that he was framed (Vollbach, Michael 1.). There is no documentation or recordings of this interrogation, however (Vollbach, Michael 1.). While in custody Oswald took a Paraffin test, which detects gunpowder residue. The results of the test showed that Oswald had not fired the Mannlicher-Caracano rifle found on the sixth floor of the Texas Book Depository (Vollbach, Michael 1.). The Mannlicher-Caracano rifle that was found was a notoriously poorly made and inaccurate rifle (Bisaro, Anna 1.). During a transfer to different prison facility Lee Harvey Oswald was assassinated by Jack Ruby (“The JFK Assassination” 1.). Jack Ruby was a local club owner who was known to have ties to organized crime (“The JFK Assassination” 2.) . The CIA was acknowledged to have ties to organized crime, particularly when they were attempting to assassinate Fidel Castro (“Why the CIA has confessed to a Cover-Up in the JFK Assassination 1.).

As we all know, Oswald was the man who supposedly shot and killed JFK, the 35th president of the united states. But what if I told you that Oswald could have been in a larger conspiracy, and that is what we are going to talk about.

The evidence presents that there could be alternatives to the official account that was made about the accuser. Conspiracies suggest Oswald acted alone, was framed, or worked with an organization to commit this crime.

Lee Harvey Oswald, the man to take responsibility for Kennedy’s death, was a former Marine for the United States but left after two court maintained reports of violence and with holding illegal firearms. He later moved to Russia so he could take part in the Soviet Union 's actions. After a while, the government of Russia finally allowed him stay and live in the city of Minsk, but under strict supervision. When returning to the United States, back in 1962, with his new wife Marina Prusakova he got a job working at the Texas School Book Depository in Dallas, the building where Oswald will shoot three bullets from his rifle. Oswald was a narcissistic man who believed he was amazing and that he would be the one to change the United States for the better. Lee Harvey Oswald interest in the idea of communism will continue to strengthen and will soon direct his feelings towards the support for Cuba. Oswald’s support for communism will be one of his main vendettas towards the president of the United States.

Oswald was suspected of collaborating with either of the two governments. Two days after Oswald was taken into custody by the the Dallas Police Department he was going to be transferred to another jail when out of the crowd came Jack Ruby with a concealed .38 revolver and fatally shot Oswald (“Jack Ruby kills Lee Harvey Oswald”). Many people believe that Jack Ruby was involved in the murder and did not want Oswald to tell anybody, and the best way stop him from telling is to kill him. Another possibility is that the CIA was involved in the assassination of JFK (“Warren Commission”). A reason why they might want to kill JFK is because they didn't like the things he was doing or instructing them to do.

Jack Ruby, a nightclub owner in Dallas, murdered Lee Harvey Oswald as Oswald was being transferred to the county jail. Although Ruby has never been linked conclusively to the mafia, it is possible that the nature of his business required him to cross paths with underworld criminals. Ruby may have been told by a high ranking person in the mafia to kill Oswald so he couldn’t tell anything to the police.
