Smith waiting frantically, “Gosh Isiah you scared me, you’re lucky I covered for you guys”
"I’ve missed you." Comes out of her mouth before she can stop it and although she is sure that the man that is hours behind misses her too but she can't help but think that it may not be in the same way.
Screams of terror and pain come from Fluttershy. She faints from the overwhelming power of Cadence's spell.
Squidword: "And the lights will flicker on and off." Just like the story. I get it.
It was later in the day, near time for all to pack up and go home, when shouts rang through the mill. A blur of green, a cloud of red barreling through the mill. "Stop!" The men shouted, trying to catch the panicked, running girl. Her face was ashen, mottled with red and wet with sweat and tears. Eyes hardly seeing. A splash of wet red across her green dress. "She's hurt, catch her!" Hands reached out but the shrill scream when they near caught her made the men
Being caught outside wasn’t a new thing for Jace, the Gargoyle was known to stay out as late as possible, flying around and perching on various things. Ever vigilant of down below, though he yearned to go to the nearby town, sit atop their churches and look down at the people below. Get to know the Gargoyles there to, if there were any. Though he didn’t regret leaving for Paris, he did miss having a family, missed those he grew up around.
The darkness of the night is punctured by the headlights of the car. I look to my left and Violet is driving the car. I drove that day, I’ll never forget. I try to reach out for her, but I can never get to her in time. I stare straight ahead and prepare for what’s coming. To think I could prepare to be jerked through the windshield. Our car crashes the one approaching us from the other lane. I get up and run to Violet. I tell her I’m sorry. I tell her it’ll be alright. Sshe tells me to take good care of Azure. The night is only lit by the flashing emergency lights, which seemed to make Violet’s bloodstains pink and my tears appear white. Her blue eyes fade to gray and her soul leaves her body. It’s all my fault.
"As you command, Sirena~!" the singers sing in response to her command, and with that, they begin to run towards Ladybug and Cat Noir. "I'll handle the brainwashed people while you come up with a plan, my lady," Cat Noir says confidently while he smiles happily at Ladybug. "Sounds good to me, kitty," Ladybug says, chuckling happily while she agrees with Cat Noir, and with that, Cat Noir begins to distract the brainwashed singers while Ladybug thinks of a plan. 9 "Lucky charm," Ladybug says, smiling happily as she summons her lucky charm, and she ends up getting a microphone for her lucky charm. All of a sudden Ladybug gets an idea while glancing at the microphone as she says, "Sirena, I challenge you to a singing competition!"
"What do we need to talk about Garnet?" She said with a wavering voice, giving her a fake smile. Her palms were sweaty and her body was weak, in nervousness. She felt hot tears stream down her delicate face. She realised she needed help. It was a scary thought, but she knew she could never get help, she really shouldn't even bother with living anymore. What did she have to live for? Rose, Pearl, though, but
The familiar sense of monotony rolls over her as the routine journey down the darkened street begins. The stretch of road seems as unexciting as the last 100 times she’s walked down it. Her mind is occupied with the thoughts of her shift she just finished and how she is going to pay for this months rent with the boss ripping her off like this. The bins rattling in the distance barely register as the neighbours dog getting into the food scraps again. The only light illuminating the otherwise dark street is coming from the moon, and reminds her that the council still hasn’t come good with their promise to fix the lights. Distant yelling brings her attention to the outside world again. It’s coming from Robert’s house. He told her just before about
He opens the right door and finds the lady dead and he wonders how (flash back)
She walks home alone -- a bit tipsy from a friend’s birthday party. She hears a low grumble in a nearby alley. Twinkling, golden eyes watch her from the darkness.
Purple bruises were scattered across her frail wrist like grotesque, swollen beetles. Her knee jutted out awkwardly to her side. Her bleeding, cracked lips were shrunken to a tiny buttonhole. Her tongue stuck out between her teeth like a piece of rubber. Her eyelids fluttered feebly as she lay there - defeated, defenseless, and desolate. Her chest heaved up and down, as her lungs fought for breath – she was barely alive. A caked, muddy trail of shoeprints followed him out the door. He had gotten away again. Tears prickled at the back of my eyes. My throat swelled up as my steely resolve began to dissolve. Grief shook my shoulders like an inner earthquake, the world around me crashing down. A nauseating mixture of relief and horror clenched tightly onto my loins – like when you finally stop an itch, only to realize that you’ve ripped a hole in your
Jolie tried her hardest to remain quiet as she entered the dark, musty basement that smelt like dead animals. The music played loudly, which masked the creaks of the stairs she stepped on. She gripped the broom tightly in her hand. Jolie squinted her eyes around to make out anything that made the music turn on or the loud crashes. Her eyes rested on a man and she tried her hardest not to panic. She quickly, but quietly turned around and walked up the stairs trying to remain calm all the while. When the man started humming along with the violin music she began to cry; she didn’t want to cry. Jolie gripped the railing and the broom slipped from her hand and fell down the stairs. The man jerked around made eye contact with her. He was frowning and then a devilish smirk appeared. She let out the scream she had been holding in for what seemed like forever. Jolie
