In this paper I will describe the client scenario from my first six days of clinical practice at the medical ward of Eagle Ridge Hospital. I will reflect upon the salient learning experience received during the first 6 shifts at Eagle Ridge Hospital. I will explore the personal meaning of my clinical experience and will identify the plans for the next set of shifts.

The Marylhurst Healthcare MBA program and 26 years of work experience in the healthcare industry will enable me to help others find and receive affordable quality healthcare. Even though, we have Obama Care people are complaining that they cannot receive quality medical care at affordable prices. In some cases, they are going without medical treatment because they cannot afford the co-pays. In addition, some people want to obtain natural healthcare and most insurance companies will not cover important naturopathy testing. It is this that has inspired me to learning the business aspect of running a hospital and using this knowledge to become a healthcare advocate.

The health care industry is an environment that is competitive and expensive. To be a patient receiving care the urgency is high and at a very critical point to trust a team of strangers with your care possibly even your life. On the other side of that coin, treating and interacting with patients is a part of the health care industry because providing care does not end with the physician. In the middle of these two different side of health care is where management steps in and takes over the middle ground.

Despite the challenges, this facilitating experice has instilled me a degree of appreciation of many staff who work hard behind the scene to ahcieve the common goal of providing the best care possible to patients within the scarce resources. It was possible to see how good working relationship with other disciplines can improve overall efficiency.

Over the years, I have developed appropriate protocols and procedures that are safe, practical and balanced. I have maintained and demonstrated the ability to fulfill and direct all phases of the business office. I have been successful in managing patient access and reimbursement operations through top tier insurance companies, private as well as federally regulated. Through diligent research and my own finances, I have broadened my knowledge of accounts receivable management, medical coding & billing, patient financial counseling,

deliver patients medical records, and run errands for all of the Nursing Units, Radiology, Admitting, and the general offices. From this experience I exhibited characteristics such as responsibility, caring, and, trustworthiness. On January 8, 2018, I began as a Sales and Marketing Intern at Probo Medical in Fishers, IN. Probo Medical buys, sells, and repairs ultrasound probes and systems domestically and internationally. The company utilizes Salesforce to manage and run the sales, purchasing, and repair process; Salesforce is essential to the success and efficiency of the company. For the initial three years, Probo Medical targeted service companies that provide probes and probe repairs to hospitals and medical clinics. Thus, the company marketed and searched for the middle man rather than the end users.
