Effective Leader Essay Before his birth Kamehameha’s mother craved the tiger shark’s eye. This was an evil omen that was going to make chief’s blood run down like streams. Eventually the omen was ignored and Kamehameha has been training until adulthood with his strength he went to war with the help of two foreigners. With them he won every battle against rival chiefs. He then took over and untied all the islands. Kamehameha was an effective leader because he was a caring, responsible, and a trustworthy leader. Kamehameha was an effective leader because after a huge war, Kamehameha worked with his people to fix his war torn land. After a battle, with Kamehameha’s victorious winning he helps out with his people to fix the land. Kamehameha helped fix the taro patches, ponds, and farm land. Kamehameha was an effective leader because he was giving governors of the island more land. This act of giving land to other governors of the land was to earn their trust and loyalty. This example is something that stayed the same. This was the same because every chief that served kamehameha always got rewarded for doing good deeds. Kamehameha was truly an effective leader because he had a caring heart, his responsible to his land and his village, and his trustworthy words. With his characteristics he got villagers to trust him more, he gained a new role a administrator and made new kapus, and gained other governors loyalty with gifting them land. Therefore Kamehameha was an effective leader with all these characteristics.
