The movie “Sleepers” deals with juvenile delinquency when four youth come across a prank, which almost kills a man. After this incident had occurred these boys were then sentenced to Wilkenson Home for Boys. This detention center had the boys go through a lot because they were treated wrong they were beaten up and also raped by the guards who work there. The boys were grown up in a poor and horrible part of New York. The way that they were treated in the detention center two of them still had not learned there lesson. Detention centers for youth should teach the youth how to become a proper and better individual however the place that these four youths were held in was straight torture for them.
