He received his career-high of 31 points at Clemson when he made seven three-pointers in an overtime win. Justin's jersey with his last name and his number will now be put up in UNC's home court, the Dean Smith Center, along with the other athletes who have won this title. Beyond his statistics, he is a great teammate and someone who is always a leader on and off the court. I do believe that Justin is a great person for this award and deserves every piece of it. He has always had a love for basketball ever since he was a little kid. Jackson's great relationships with his teammates and coaches have led him to be this successful. He knew what he had to do in order to pursue his career further. Jackson was very dedicated to the sport and spent hours on end in the gym during the off season refining his stroke. For 12 years, Earvin Magic Johnson on dominated the court as one of America’s best basketball players.
In the biggest game of his college football career, Jackson was faced with 4th down on the 1-yard line where he did what no one has seen before by going over the top of the defensive line and scoring to win the game. Today, that play is not seen as a rarity because of what Jackson started. During the 1989 All-Star game, at leadoff, Jackson hit a moonshot that set the tone for the game and later awarding him the MVP. He did not back down in the face of adversity, but rather excelled like a true epic hero.
Louisville Cardinals sophomore quarterback Lamar Jackson had a spectacular freshman campaign in 2015. The dual-threat quarterback from Boynton Beach, Florida, passed for 1,840 yards and 12 touchdowns and rushed for 960 yards and 11 touchdowns in Bobby Petrino's spread offense. So in the 1987 draft the raiders chose him with their seventh round pick. The owner of the raiders seemed to take a liking in Jackson's baseball career so he offered him a contract that would allow him to pursue baseball but also have to work part-time in football after each MLB season. During the 1990 NFL season he rushed for 698 yards in 10 games and earned himself a Pro Bowl selection. But an injury also came with all of those accomplishments as he suffered a hip injury that the treatment couldn’t help. That spring the Royals released him and he was later acquired the the White Sox. He was able to play 23 games before his hip had deteriorated so much that he had to have it replaced.

Michael Jordan was so dominant on the court that another NBA great, Magic Johnson, commented, “There’s Michael, then there’s the rest of us.”
He averaged a 3.0 for grades and was accepted by the university of North Carolina. Carter Jr. was the 5th overall pick in the 1998 NBA draft. He was the 2000 NBA dunk contest champion.
Although it was difficult to decide, I believe Charles Dumrique is deserving of the MVP nomination. Becoming a great basketball player is more than just the skills and flashy moves an individual can display on the court, but it involves the hard work, determination and will to want to improve on the most intangible traits that aren't easily detectable. The kind of traits that make a player great in situations that require them to perform, all of which I believe Charles contains. He also had a strong awareness for the game, understanding when to give up the ball and when to take charge and score. This allowed others to improve around him because he not only played at a high level, but he also provided that spark encouraging others to
