The music from ‘Bring it On: The Musical’ was also written by Miranda. In addition, he wrote a song with Tom Kitt called “Bigger”, which is used in some award shows including the Tony Awards.

Jane (Laura) Addams was born to Sarah (Weber) Addams and John Huy Addams on September 16, 1860 in Cedarville, Illinois near Rockford and Wisconsin border. She was the eighth of nine children. From this union out of the nine children only three of the daughters and one son survived to see adulthood.

After graduating, she briefly attended medical school and she spent her spare time traveling the world.

Who is Jane Addams? That’s a question that a lot of us probably are unable to answer. Well for one she is recognized as the founder of the social work. And two she was one of the probably two or three most famous women in the United States, along with being one of the most beloved Americans in the world. She is quite an interesting person with plenty of accomplishments ranging from publishing eleven books and hundred of articles on important topics to being the first woman to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.

Julie Taymor was born on December 15, 1952 in Newton, Massachusetts. She is the youngest of four sisters. Her father, Melvin Lester Taymor, was a gynecologist. Her mother, Elizabeth Bernstein Taymor, was a teacher in political science. She like international folklore and mythology, and developed a passion for theater. Her early interest in theater helped in her success today. At an early age, Taymor and her sisters would set up shows and plays for her family and friends in their backyard. Then at the age of ten, she studied theater at Boston’s Children’s Theater.

Not everyone is blessed with musical talent but when someone has an extraordinary ability, he or she should get the chance to please others with it. Sometimes a career can be made out of musical endowment, and that is what Billie Holiday did. Billie had a life that she may not have dreamed of since it started out rough with her mistreatment from adults and discouraging misfortunes, but she was ambitious and that showed through her singing career. Billie could usually adapt to her life’s problems except for her drug addiction and alcohol abuse, which unfortunately led to her demise. She was a talented woman who sang and helped create hit songs that aided her to rise to fame. Billie Holiday bravely stood up to racism, showed the world her talent, and inspired many of her beloved fans, all while continuing to be herself and not allowing the issues in her life hold her back.

In January 2007 she was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Screen Actors Guild. Standing by her side were her former co starts, Dick Van Dyke and Anne Hathaway. The first was from her first Disney film, Mary Poppins and the second was from her latest Disney films The Princess Diaries.

Jane Addams was a leader in women’s suffrage and world peace, she helped in the needs of children and adults that were poor, and she was well known for winning a Nobel Peace prize.

Andrew Lloyd Webber is the son of William Lloyd Webber as well as an English composer and producer who studied at Westminster school, RCM and then at Oxford University. He wrote incidental music for shows at toy theaters before he went to Westminster. While at Westminster he wrote music for school revues.
