As you know or may not know, next Tuesday will mark the start of my last two weeks of my internship with Juana Gonzales, the Clinical Practice Director. She suggested that you might be willing to let me spend a day observing you, so I can learn more about the administrator’s roles and deepens my knowledge of the Kaiser Permanente clinical policies and procedures.
My experience with Juana is extremely rewarding. In additional, she has been helping me understand management interoperability services and sharpen my skills. I am thoroughly enjoying working with a great team; it has been a pleasure watching and learning from you.
I would be extremely grateful if you allow me to quietly observe you for one full day as you go about your usual schedule.

In addition, she believed Robert performed oral sex on her but her legs went numb and she was unable
Some have the opportunity to pay for a better education, while others have the option of obtaining a “public school” one. However their are those who receive less of an education due to the city they were born. Imagine not having the ability to receive the education you deserve for the simple fact of the border you were born within. Immigrants and their kids face different challenges everyday due to the simple fact they were not born in the united states. A big factor that influences an immigrant 's life is not being able to get a good education. There is a big learning gap between people who were born here and those who weren 't.
While I, Nicole Holcombe, was at my internship I learned how to do a walk around. You go to every door and check to make sure a person is in every cell. If you are doing a walk around after the inmate is back in their cell you make sure to check if the doors locked by pulling on the handle. I also learned you can check three places to know if someone has money on their books. Deputy Briggs showed me the rule book all inmates receive and how to write someone up. You write what they did wrong their name and cell number and then you give it to them when you can have another officer with you for your safety. Briggs also showed me how to log inmate movement, for example, if they go to the library. When logging movement you go to a program called
I began interning at Hudson Partnership CMO in January 2016. In a short time, I have been able to learn greatly from this experience. While shadowing other Care Managers, I have gained knowledge
For the past six months, I have been Sandra's supervisor while she was shadowing Jimmy Santana, MBA, PA-C at Miami Rescue Mission Clinic. Now, she has accumulated 120 hours of experience. During this time, she was able to experience the PA-patient interaction, but also learned what it takes to become a Physician Assistant.
The law is both effective and ineffective throughout the entire criminal process in achieving justice in the murder case involving Sef Gonzales. The case “Regina vs Gonzales (2004) NSW SC 822” involved the triple murders of Gonzales’s mother, father and only sister The meaning of justice is that everyone is treated equally and fairly under the law. The law was effective in this case because justice was achieved, for the accused, for the victims and for society. Former Sydney student Sef Gonzales has been sentenced to life imprisonment for the triple murder of his parents, solicitor Ted Gonzales, Mary Loiva Gonzales and then 18-year old sister Clodine in their North Ryde home in Sydney’s north-west on July 10, 2001.Clodine Gonzales was the
I completed the Hispanic National Internship Program at the U.S. Department of Agriculture, National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA), for the Summer 2017 Session. My duties were as follows:
I should start my planning now, I should be begin researching and placing all my necessary health records submitted to GCU Field work coordinators. Get immunization and medical physical completed. However, I was informed that my practicum. Internship should happen towards the end of education. But it is important that I start gathering and researching my internship locations now, so that I have the multiple locations to apply with.
It was an uneventful midmorning day, on the general medical floor; a list of patients already drawn out with what needed to be completed during our shift. A group of people huddled together discussing treatment plans and options. At that present time, rounding was just for physicians and physician assistants. But dietitians were recently included, so I got to watch as the providers presented their cases to one another. One individual stood out above the rest as she was presenting to her attending; she was confident, poised, and didn’t skip a beat during her presentation. Once the meeting was completed she sat down next to me and we started talking. She introduced herself as Becky, a physician assistant. Having never heard of the role before, she explained that she does examinations, diagnosing, carrying out investigations, as well as treatments and prescribing. Becky could tell I appeared very interested in this, and asked if I was able to spend some time shadowing to learn more about her role. The next patient she saw, I was able to go in the room with her and watch her examine a new patient, discuss his course of treatment, and follow up with the attending. She took me through the entire process of seeing a new patient from a PA perspective. That was all I really needed to get the wheels in my head turning for a new career.
Many prominent figures, past and present, have influenced the way I interact with others and view the world. However, the people who have impacted me the most were my fellow peers and educators I have encountered over the years. They have taught me how to understand where others are coming from and how to provide adequate support. I think this is what Fr. Pedro Arrupe meant when saying that the prime educational objective of the Jesuits “must be to form men and women for others.” By educating men and women for others, we can build a more socially aware and accepting environment. When someone is educated in any way, they are being shaped for the future, whether it be a beneficial or detrimental shaping. The best way to face this inevitability is to structure an intersectional education; one that focusses on typical subjects like math and english, but concurrently concentrates on societal dilemmas.
I was a little naive to think I was going to complete this project for Jennifer in the first few weeks of my volunteer time. I completed half of the Courtesy staff physicians last week and I completed the other half today. Jennifer did receive some exciting news today! The Quality Department will be gaining a new part time employee. Technically not a part time employee, Britney a nurse from RCC (Recovery Care Center) will be devoting every Wednesday to helping out the Quality Department. Britney will be helping the Quality Department enter incident reports into EDGE (Every Day Giving Excellence).
The topic in education that I am interested in exploring is “The impact that the ESE (EBD) label have on the school to prison pipeline involving black male students?” During my years of providing instruction to students with severe emotional/behavioral disabilities I have seen at least eighty percent of the students in the program end up in jail or prison. Things that I need to take into consideration as I explore this topic is that fact that most of the students that have the label come with baggage. I hope to learn and explore the dynamic of the household, socio economic status, educational level of completion, pregnancy evaluation, as well as mentally compacity of biological parents. I believe the topic is worthy of studying so that

Edgar Allan Poe’s works contain many Gothic elements like fear, gloom, death, the supernatural, and horror, as well as several romantic characteristics, such as high emotions, nature and a focus on individuality. Through the use of these elements, Poe is able effectively enhance a reader’s emotions and produce sensations of mystery. The short stories “The Tell-Tale Heart” and “The Fall of the House of Usher” by Edgar Allan Poe contain many of these elements, and in this paper I will analyze why these are classified as Gothic stories.
The second week of my preceptorship brought many new experiences for me, and I can honestly say that each day I spend with my preceptor is better than the last. This week I focused on time management of a full patient load with continued documentation practice as well as admission and discharge procedures. I’ve had brief experiences in my past rotations assisting with discharge teaching and admission assessments however I have never been able to fully take charge and complete the process from start to finish, so this was a great learning opportunity for me.
