Journal Response One Adolf Hitler is the main character in the book I read called Air War Against Hitler Germany. A little background about Hitler is that he is very cruel, yet smart, but is an unfair man that held little apathy towards the Jews. He was an unbalanced man that admired conflict. Wars were started due to his irregular behavior. In this paper I will be describing more about Hitler and discuss my feelings towards this nonfiction novel. Then I will compare what is happening in my life to the actions in this novel. As stated, Hitler isn’t the most thoughtful leader. A big reason is due to him leading the genocidal group called the Nazi. The Nazi are a members of the National Socialist German Workers Party. This group of people led directly to World War II and the Holocaust. Hitler could be considered a man of many things, he cunning however he lacked apathy towards other leaving him as an unfair man. Not to mention, Hitler and army built their very own planes to be used in World War II. …show more content…
It gave plenty of facts about the main planes that Hitler and the Nazis used. This plane that was talked about mainly was the model B-17. It’s a good book if you want to have a prolific amount of facts on planes that were used in World War II. Learning about World War II it self would better be advised to choose a different novel. In all honesty the assignment was a challenge for me with the type of content in this book. To fully understand World War II this book those not go deep enough for anybody to firmly grasp an idea of what actually happened. Even as to why it happened, or where it all began, but mainly how many lives were sacrificed for this war and how many actually
Adolf Hitler was arguably one of the world’s most powerful dictators of all time. Hitler used the Jews as a scapegoat throughout his rise in power. Using antisemitism to preach hatred and blame on the Jews for all of Germany’s problems, including the loss of World War I. Hitler had gained the support of other countries to include Italy and Japan and was going to stop at nothing to ensure that the German people would reign supreme. Hitler had his Army ready for war and was confident that a victory for Germany was certain, he just needed an opportunity to strike. In this paper we will discuss the history of WWII, to include Hitler’s rise to power, world conquest and the transition of Cost Artillery to today’s Air Defense.
Before and during the Second World War people were fascinated with flight, the speed and the idea of flying high in the sky has kept people interested. Bombers and fighters alike both change dramatically in the twenty years after the Great War. From cloth wings to metal wings planes became bigger, faster, agile, and can hold a lot more fire power. The air war has changes significantly since the First World War. During the First World War bombers played a big role in the air war and after it left many questions whether it is the way to win wars. There has been speculation that future wars would be won by bombers and it can crush and the enemies at home and also the soldiers. Both book, Wartime by Fusslle and Why the Allies Won by Overy explain in depth what was the actual outcome of bombers and their roles before and after the war.
Hitler was in many ways a great leader and his influence on the German people was immense; he used his motivational and powerful speaking abilities to gain support and popularity. Hitler knew how to appeal to people's baser instincts and made use of their fears and insecurities. He could do that,
A.N. Wilson’s novel reflects on Adolf Hitler’s life from the very beginning all the way until the end. In the beginning of the book Wilson examined the early life of Adolf Hitler and his original aspirations on what he wanted to be in life. As the book went on, Wilson started to show more and more how Hitler worked his way up the ranks eventually becoming the dictator of Germany. Wilson’s novel also debunks the myths that Hitler described in his own novel “Mein kiemph” of him struggling throughout his life. Hitler lived in comfortable middle class conditions and not the poor life as he described which was only one of his many lies.
In "War," Nick Adams progresses from an innocent, invincible soldier to a traumatized, realistic human. Ernest Hemingway utilizes his minimalist approach to highlight the destructive consequences of war and display that no benefits come from violence. Nick departs for war as a confident soldier but learns very quickly about the reality of war because of his injury. Then, he feels the psychological effects of the war through his lack of rest. Finally, Nick leaves the war as a fortunate, hopeful man with much still to experience. The war gives Nick a realistic outlook on life and matures him through all the death and destruction.
Hitler and the Holocaust is a very informational novel written by Robert S. Wistrich that not only explains this horrible time in history, but also gives us a look into the mind of Hitler and Nazi ideology. This book is not just centered on Hitler and Germany as it my sound, antisemitism spread like a plague all across Europe even before the Holocaust took place. In this work, Wistrich is not making an argument, but is trying to find an explanation on why so many inhumane actions were allowed.
For a leader to be successful, he must first be intelligent and determined. Hitler is a highly intelligent and determined leader, he knew what Germany needed to thrive and overcome the negative impact brought upon by the Treaty of Versailles, however Hitler also had to overcome, the fluctuations of his political successfulness for this a leader must be determined. An example of intelligence would be – how Hitler supported and supplied his people with benefits, i.e. tax breaks, social benefits, offering a substantial amount of money to soldiers and despite all the struggles of war, he did not raise taxes. The previous example showed Hitler’s kindness, Hitler was intelligent enough to realize that kindness towards his people gained him supporters

As you know from my previous journal response, Hitler wasn’t a good man. From reading this book Air War Against Hitler you wouldn’t know that. In order to focus on what happens in this book I will no longer be describing Hitler. Instead, I will share whether Hitler is worth my friendship and why, I will express my prediction of the ending of this book before I finish it. I will also express how my feeling changed throughout the story.
There is no doubt that Hitler was a very powerful human who destroyed people’s lives all over the world. Hitler’s reign of Germany will never be forgotten. Hitler was the leader of Germany who ran the Nazi party. The Nazi’s were ruthless people who would do whatever needed to get their way, even if it meant killing the innocent. The Nazi’s hated communists and Jewish descendants. They wanted an Aryan society. Hitler was power hungry and wanted to more land for Germany and invaded Poland starting World War II. Hitler would stop at nothing to get his way. After researching Hitler, I concluded that he was a very intelligent and persuasive human. Hitler was able to get an entire country to follow him in just a couple of years. However, I believe
Did Adolf Hitler’s arrogance cost him the war? During World War II, Hitler thought himself a military and tactical genius. However, he still lost the war. Adolf Hitler, the leader of Nazi Germany, wanted to conquer the world and create an empire. He planned to purge the world of anyone he deemed inferior. Those he deemed inferior included Jews, Gypsies, Slavs, African-Americans. and anyone with special needs. He, along with his superior Aryan race, would rule the world. Aryans, were Nordic in appearance and of direct German descent. In 1934, Adolph Hitler became the absolute dictator, or Fuhrer, of Germany. Germany’s democratic government was dismantled and Hitler’s Third Reich began. Hitler began to put his grand plan into action. Hitler found great success in his early military campaigns; however, his arrogance lead to his later military failures. In my essay, I will examine Hitler as a military leader. I will analyze what he did, and why he did it. Did he make the right decisions at the right times? I will discuss his early military victories, and analyze his decisions during the battles at Dunkirk and Russia that ultimately lead to an Allied victory. Lastly, I will examine his disdain of anything Jewish that allowed the United States to drop an atomic bomb on Japan.
Hitler doesn't deserve to be leader because he don't care about his own people. He never trusted his own people. If hitler thought someone wasn’t loyal to him or had freedom of speech against him he will execute them. According to graduate profile a leader should always have trust in his people and his people should have all the rights they deserve.
