Jotaro was beyond vexed. This kind of thing just didn’t happen to Jotaro Kujo. Never before in his life had he been rejected. Never. Not once. Granted, he had only ever hit on anyone a handful of times in his life. However, seeing the way girls were always falling all over themselves to get his attention, one would think he could have any lover he wanted. As it turned out, this was not exactly the case. The professor’s refusal of Jotaro’s advances disturbed his mentality so greatly that he couldn’t get it out of his head for the next 3 days. He remained in his dorm that entire weekend, even opting to order delivery rather than going out to the food court. Maintaining his usual demeanor, no one would have never noticed he was suffering a blow to his ego other than the one true friend he had. On the morning of the third day of Jotaro’s lengthy fit of frustration, a Monday, he …show more content…
Jotaro looked back to him and cringed. “The hell are you doing, Polnareff?” “Trying to understand how you pass all your classes with flying colors when you’re this stupid!!” Ugh. This was a mistake. Jotaro was now regretting telling Polnareff about the professor. He was in for the last thing he needed now: another damn lecture. “If you dragged me out here just to yell at me, then piss off. I'm not hearing it.” When Jotaro had told the exchange student exactly what happened that fateful Friday night, the immediate reaction he received was exasperation and disappointment. Although he didn’t know what to expect from Polnareff, he certainly didn’t think he’d have to put up with this. Now that Jotaro was about to shut him out, Polnareff backed off on the shouting. “So, what? Do you want to date him or something? Doesn’t that go against university policy?” “Hell if I
What were the details that showed that Joad has finally understood what happened and why the area was deserted?
Alisha Allen Mrs. Baker English 1 November 28, 2023 Survival essay The question is survival selfish is hard to answer when theres so much to consider. Almost all humans have a natural instinct for survival, most people are going to do what they can to make sure they come out of difficult times alive. So is survival really selfish? Some might say that it is selfish to survive, but it is really only selfish if a person does not think of others; it is not selfish when someone is thinking of the people at home, when instincts take over, and when more people can ultimately be helped. To start, people never know the outcomes of their actions until after it happens.
I sat in the front seat as the officer drove down broadway to Santa Maria high school to pick up Roberto. Roberto Didn't know what was happening. The car was silent as Ino drove Sakura to her pregnancy class. She hoped that Sakura would be ok she could only imagine how she must have felt. "Sakura how did it go?"
Yuki slowly opens her eyes letting a single ray of light pass through the darkness. In that light she sees a gallant young man kneeling over her holding a katana in his other hand. The young man was uncomfortable close to her. If she was not shaking from fear, Yuki would have thought of him handsome. His hair flows green down the back of his ears, complementing a thick green scarf around his neck.
Kilcoyne was uncertain. She knew today was the day she had to ask him for he would slip from her grasp forever. Dirge was quite older than her, 5 years, to be exact, and she felt as if he had only seen her as a child. She had tried many things to impress him, pinning her hair in a new updo, wearing skimpy dresses that hugged her figure, or cracking mature jokes. But she felt like a baby trying to seduce an old man.
How many of us have been stressed out this week and wished we could have prevented it? Levitin’s main idea is there are systems you can put in place that could prevent bad things from happening. I agree with Levitin because I believe there are many systems we could put in place to prevent bad things from happening. Like buying bottled water in case something happens to our drinking water. Gary Klein’s pre-mortem is looking ahead thinking of everything that could go wrong and coming up with a plan to prevent the bad things from happening. Making a decision in a stressful situation such as a financial or a medical situation could lead you to a quick decision without looking or reviewing the overall outcome. The effects of cortisol reduce logical thinking and begins to shutdown systems in our bodies. I will now discuss the first piece of evidence which is pre-mortem.
He stood up like he was ordered, girting his teeth, biting back any harsh words he wished to spit out. He pushed his hair out of his face, gathered his and his master's effects and followed the wizard. Jessime spent a lot of time in his head, thinking about various things, dreaming about being a free man at an inn with many women of all races around him only to have his lovely fantasy shattered by being fucked by his -unwilling to admit out loud- handsome master. Jessime struggled at the thought, only finding himself eyeing his master up and down. A mix of resentment, self loathing and sexual frustration ate away at him.
encounter. Jadine is absolutely repulsed by his looks but she is kind to him and they start to talk, the conversation takes a turn for the worse. Drinking their worries away inside a room filled with dusty tomes, three guards sat in a circle skirting their duties in favor of getting hammered as they hid from their peers; however, one of them had enough. Relaxation was fine once in a while yet he and his friends were on their eighth straight night. He didn’t want to lose this job and find a new one, chiefly because of the benefit of allowing him to concentrate on writing his novel as opposed to worrying about his day-to-day expenses.
The three girls rushed inside of the gymnasium and immediately halted. Eiko faltered before falling to her knees. They were too late. All twenty seven on their friends, rivals, fellow classmates… were all dead. Murdered in cold blood. There were body parts strewn everywhere. Entrails were hanging from the lights, and limbs were stacked up in the middle of the room like lincoln logs. Mariko narrowed her eyes, forcing herself to ignore the scenery before she lost her mind and had a mental breakdown. Kazue pulled her out of the way as a spirit arrow went gliding past the place where she was just standing. Kazue transformed and lifted them both into the air, into safety. Eiko was releasing all of her pent up frustration.
. There are a couple of ways on how to teach your child to help others. I believe by the parents helping others the children learn to also be helpful. Being an example of a helpful person has to be effective in a positive way for the children. Also parents can talk to their child about the rewards it has on helping others. They can explain to their child about internal rewards and external rewards. In chapter twelve internal reward is define as self-satisfaction. External reward is gaining something back from you helping out. The parents should give life examples to their kids on how both rewards can be good. For example, internal reward can make you feel good about yourself also feeling like you are useful for someone. An example of external
Kozume Kenma didn't like change. He liked things the way things were. He didn't mind small changed every now and again but for the most part he preferred to keep things the way they were. That's maybe why staying goodbye to Kuroo was the hardest thing he'd done for a long time. And sure he'd seen it coming because Kuroo was older than him and would graduate first. It was just how things were and Kenma knew that - he accepted that fact long before actual graduation. He knew that Kuroo would leave, just like he had after junior high. He left and Kenma would soon follow.
That night Miku tossed and turned in her bed, wondering if she was meant to be with her mother. She thought if she were to run away to grand maims house, with those delicious cookies, well she couldn't stay there forever. How about her friends tree house, she could sleep there and hang out with her friends! Oh right those mosquitoes! Miku could not go to sleep, she was worrying to much about her life and Luka! Then when she did fall asleep she spent her whole night dreaming about her sailing a ship all the way to Italy, or Paris! Oh how she logged to go to Paris! The whole night was solemn, and peaceful, and Miku’s sail boat bobbed up and down as if all her hope was sailing to a new land, just for Miku.
I turned, coming eye-to-chest with him. “Jack, you know I don’t do your homework for you because it’s too easy. I don’t do it because it’s cheating!”
